I think Bush is going to meet with those who do not support him and threaten them. Probably even make threats against their families. This man really, really wants this bill passed for some reason. It can't be because he is worried about his legacy, he has already said he doesn't care about what people think of him. He is in cahoots with the Mexican President on this. bush must have some oil rights or something pending approval of the Amnesty Bill. I used to support Bush on most everything, but not on this Bill, and especially not since he told us that if we are against it, We are not Americans. He can go get screwed. And so can congress if they pass this bill.

Not if the republicans have any sense of survival at all. Bush has nothing to lose. he is a lame duck, and not a very smart one at that. Other repubs need sot get re elected and better be listening. The safety aspect of this bill is what scares the daylights out of me. There is no real saftey provided, and yet we are being sold this load of crap with the border security tag. It is rubbish. Duncan Hunter has it right with the LAW that he wrote, was approaved overwhelmingly by both house and senate and was signed into LAW by bush that requires 837 miles of fence to be built no later than 18 months after it went into law. The parts that have been built are the most effective you can imagine. This bill must be driven into oblivion. Let this phase pass, then bit by bit tighten up the code where it can be done. INS and ICE must be supported by state and local givt or have all federal funding cut off. ALL of it. They cannot deny they need the feds money, and wont be able to stand in front of us the people if they are breaking the law.
If this bill dies, the fence Hunter had approaved and is dead nuts solid will be built, and we will continue to deport those we catch. Sounds like a good start to me. I know for one I wont be pissed about paying my taxes and having the cheaters get a freaking pass approved and backed by the dumbest white house outside of Jimbob Carter's that has ever been in office. I used to like the guy but he is such an arrogant dumbass, and such a lousy salesman that he cannot sell this. He smirks and chuckles like he so smart,and we just dont get it..he is soooo stupid. Imagine this folks, if they couldnt processs the 600K in passports that were required to go back and forth between mexico canada and the us how can they process 12 milliong new visas/ Hmm? The super efficient govt agency does not exist that can handle what we are being sold. better to let this go and require them to uphold their oaths of office and protect our damned borders. We had to sign a waiver to allow the free flow of people becuase the passports cannt be processed in a full calender year. And we are to expect that 12 million people will asimilated into the system withing 18 moinths by some supermassive new ultra efficient body of govt? Puhhhhhhhleaze!
The Mexican superhighway being built all the way into Colorado must be stopped, and this never ending preference for illiterate mexicans over english speaking high school and college edcuated americans must stop. Citizens first. All else get in an orderly line, and we will process those of you who are the best and brightest. Not the illiterate unwashed masses of Latin America. I LOVE any immigrant who comes here legally. I am extremely fond of a number or people who have come here and made good, and stand beside them. But Mexico mist stop sending us their revolutionary pressures, and deal with them at home. These people are not our problem, and rewarding them with citzenship for being clever enough to evade the law while everyone else who DID obey the law is made a fool of? This effort undermines the fundamental unfairness of our legislative leaders. they are using taxpayers like you and me to fund the cheap labor for their cronies. Ask ANY CEO or owner of a small business if they wil take on the 20K per ALIEN in govt services they take per year and you will get a resounding NO!. They want you and me to fund this illegal wave of slave labor so they dont have to our kids or anyone else for thatmatter a fair living wage. Swift meat packing had 1300 people arrested about a year or so ago, and though "no american" would work this job they had lines of people lined up for this crappy job that only pays 9 to 14 per hour around two city blocks. They filled all of the open positins with a week. The argument for farm labor is only convincing to a certain degree. 75 percent of all harvesting work performed in the USA is done bu citizens of the USA. Specious argmuments all. I would love to challenge McCain, Kennedy, Kyl, and Bush to an OPEN debate where they had to answer questions and not hand us bullshit rhetoric that leads us all to the same borken promises we are always getting from our feckless leaders. Remember Ted Kennedy wrote the original immigration reform act of 1965 and avouned he finally had a tough bill that would close off illegal immigration. 1986 he helped craft the same type of legisaltion for Reagan's amnesty or at least played a large role in it. Here he is again at yet another 21 to 25 year interval lying to us all again, and saying all the same things. Don't take my word for it. Look it up for yourselves. They are only trying to cover the butts for not doing what they already promised to do for us, and hewre they are telling us they are serious about terror. Bunkum.
The Law and or laws are just to intimidate the lessor informed. Immigration is a real problem and it is going to take more then intimidation to solve the problem
