Incidental, Calderon is the only President, who has actually challenge the drug cartel in Mexico, instead of being bought out by them...Don't be so quick to criticize this President.Give him a chance, he is trying to make the "rat-hole" less of one, which in turn will benefit you.

It will be a problem for USA, as emigration to USA act as a security valve to the problem the average Pedro faces in Mexico. I think leftists mexicans will be happy, this fuels class struggle in Mexico.It is also a blow to the President of Mexico ,who is a friend of US policy of "free markets".
The President of Mexico should be more concerned with improving conditions in Mexico so people would not leave. We would not have a problem with immigration from Mexico if people actually wanted to live there.

I don't see why Mexico President is upset about. Solve your internal pbs first and make Mexico a decent place to live in. About the bill, I'm kind of happy it was rejected. I don't see why the United States should amnesty them for entering the country illegally. Think of those who entered legally by paying a lawful visa and can't work as they would like to support themselves. They are doing everything by the book. But now, they want to legalize those people and they want to give them the same status than an American or resident. That's not fair! As an American, you should be offended, because as a lawful non-resident person I am. So Calderon butts out and go get upset at your country living conditions!
They will have to fend for themselves. The ironic part is that those who support the illegals aliens do so under the idea that they are un-able to help themselves without breaking the law, while the anti-illegal alien group tends to give them more credit.
Yes, I agree with you on this one. If President Calderon is upset then he should be trying to make Mexico a better place for the Mexican illegals that are here in America. Why should he blame President Bush for his problems? If he is so concerned of his people then he would do what it takes to make a better life for them, and stop blaming Bush for Mexico's disaster. I really hope that this Immigration Reform bill never succeeds and is never brought up again. Right now, our 'so called' leaders should focus more on our borders, to get a hold on them before more illegals come through. I guess we will have to see what is going to happen next.
