She voted against cloture today, so I am tentatively in favor of her, but think she would have voted the other way had she been under less pressure. A more secure anti vote would be better. However, I doubt that is the choice people will be presented with, and at least so far she is responsive.
I'm from Texas & I agree that Kay Bailey Hutchison has been in the Senate way too long. She, like so many others, gets her marching orders from the White House & Lobby firms in DC. She lost touch with those she proports to represent so many years ago that she can't remember what they are like or even where they live.
