Can I travel outside U.S. if my green card is being renewed?

My daughter's and my green card is currently under the process of renewal. Is it possible for us to travel out of U.S.? If so, how and what do we need to do? Thanks!

only if they give you a temporary 10 -30 day pass to travel and you have to have that on you and show it. So call your Embassy...they will do that for you.
Get hold of the INS. You won't get the straight stuff from anyone on here unless you're exceptionally lucky. Call someone who knows--the INS.
