That is exactly the boat i'm in so yes it does hurt us. It isn't fair at all, I am an American citizen and have paid taxes since I was old enough to work and I don't know if my son will have the insulin he needs from month to month. I get no child support so i'm doing it all on my own.

It is not fair for any child to die. But between the two kids, one of them child of a US citizen, the other one child of an illegal immigrant, it is "fair". They are just children, they're not at fault. One child has no more right to live than the other. Illegals need to be stopped for other reasons. What is not fair is ignoring needy American children.
just because "illegals" are getting help, so are others (American) as well. so just because you say "illegals" get help and poor Americans don't doesn't mean "illegald" are to blame for. there are cases where "illegals" don't get help either.

Of course not, illegals (non citizens) should not be entitled to ANY government (tax payer funded) services those services are only for citizens, with the exception of emergency medical attention of course.
I live in Los Angeles, and the schools are overflowing with "Limited English Proficiency" children.

Hospitals all over California are shutting down because they can't afford to give free health care to millions of illegals.
And our gummint is treating us like dupes telling us that they'll contribute to our country instead of sucking up all our money and resources.

Of course American children are suffering due to the invasion of Mexican illegals. My sister teaches at a school which has a free breakfast program for our low income children. American children cannot have free breakfast, because the school turns into Old Mexico in the mornings. Mexicans drive up to the school in nice cars and let out their children, ages kindergarten through high school to get a free breakfast. English isn't spoken in the school cafeteria in the morning. The American low income parents keep their children at home, and they get no free breakfast. The funding was intended for Americans, not Mexican Nationals. But the Mexican took it away from American kids. This is but one example.

Yes in schools and in the medical field. Here they run a summer school for 6 weeks for the migrants children. They do not pay taxes here yet we pay to educate their children. They the school district says we dont have money and cut programs for our children.
Its never fair for any children to suffer but as many stated on here the help should be for American children. Well folks sorry to burst your bubble but the children that are getting the help are american children. Their parents may be illegal but they are natural born citizens of the U.S and entitled to all the services that all American citizens are entitled to.
