If I were to go to Scotland to university, could I then apply for leave to remain after graduation? I plan on getting my Bachelor's & Master's degree on after the other. I am in US currently.

If you are in USA and USA citizen, then you can go to Scotland. Even you can remain there after bachelors and Master degree. USA citizens don't face much problems in immigration.
But if you are not the USA Citizen then you have to check in to Uk immigartion office in Washington or Newyork.
