Is it possible for a son/daughter of a person who is eligible for Temporary Protected Status? What if the son or daughter was not born in the country that is eligible? For instance, lets say the parent was born in El Salvador, a country that is eligible, and the son/ daughter was born in Canada?

No. You can't get TPS from a safe country. It is like temporary asylum, and kids in Canada don't need asylum, last I heard. Also, COMING from Canada I doubt even the guy from El Salvador can get TPS. It was extended to those it was given to, but I don't know that it is opened up to new people. Check uscis.gov
