i have no idea in this matter i have never claim for any benefit in the past but this time i really need some support because im expecting a child also in this year dec. am i eligible being a british national living in Germany for this kind of benefit ?

Answer:
There are certain benefits you can claim from the UK whilst living abroad, such as Disability Allowance, Retirment Pension to name but two. You need to be claiming in the UK before you can take the benefit abroad. The benefits you wish to claim, presumably maternity and unemployment/income support, should be claimed in Germany, since that is where you live.
You have to be base in the UK for any assistant you seeking from the UK government. Plus have a UK address not a German one. Since your living in Germany why don't you claim there for assistant?
Short answer is No.

Do you really think British are that stupid.
You will have to check to see if there is a reciprocal agreement with Germany regards Social benefits, we have reciprocal agreements with Rep of Ireland but not sure about rest of EEC
LMFAO, LOL! HELL NO!
No you are not eligible in the UK but might be eligible in Germany. The benefits are probably better in Germany anyway, i know the are better in the Netherlands.

Fairly sure that while you won't get any assistance from the UK government, you should get some from the German gov.

Where are all the people that come on here moaning about foreigners getting UK benefits?

Oh, BTW, good luck with the baby, congratulations!
probably not theyd likely say you have to apply for it from the German government, but good luck anyway and congratulations

You can claim German benefits.
As you hold an EU passport, you are entitled to claim benefits in any EU country.

sorry I didn't know how to do a link but if you read this clause thoroughly you will find out how to claim. Alex
For all Tax and benifits purpose you need to be ordinarily resident (more than 180 days in an calendar year) in UK only then you qualify for any Tax relief or benifits.
