The illegal immigration problem is a humongous problem. Last I looked the Mexican government was complaining that they lost more peope to illegal immigration than death.

The Mexican government is perfectly content to have its citizens cross over in the United States and then send American Dollars back every week to support their families in Mexico where the cost of living is dirt cheap.
Meanwhile, we don't even know who these people are, unless you started to closely scrutinize every Western Union wire transfer going from the US to Mexico. Then you'd figure out who's who.
Here part of the solution: Add a 20 percent excise tax to every dollar being sent into Mexico by an undocumented alien. Criminalize strawman transactions. And start arresting people might quick. That usually puts the clamp on things.
Those that don't belong here should be sent back. If they get caught coming back, put them in prison for 20 years, and then deport them when they're released.
If they get caught coming back after that --- execute them.
