Will your Senator's vote for or against amnesty for illegals determine your election vote in 2008 and why?

Answer:
Yes it will. My Senator, (Martinez), ran on the premise that he did not support illegal immigrants and their demands. Now, he is one of the pushers of this ill conceived Reform Bill. I have written to him several times, and have always received a typical form letter in response. This man is an immigrant himself (legal) and he used to say that the only way a person should immigrate to the US is the legal way. He is one of the biggest liars that I have seen in Florida politics, ever. I will not vote for him, or any Republican or Democrat ever again. I believe it is time for new leadership in D.C. and the old time Congress and Senate should be changed.
Yes, it will. They were elected to represent the people that voted. They are not doing that, take a look at any poll on this issue. This is a country that runs on the rule of law. Due to lack of enforcement we now need another law to address the problem, I think not. Enforce what we have.

Next big issue I look at, programs that do not contain any measure for funding. This would include the war in IRAQ.

Current grade for congress, D-. Current grade for the Executive branch F. Current grade for the Judicial branch, D.
My grading process, and they are not getting it done.
Oh yes. If a candidate supported anything pro illegal then they will be voted out of office.
I don't vote based on a single issue. I also understand that the "amnesty" that's described in the latest bill is not what so many on YA apparently think it is.
Yes - it's a crock!
It sure will. Both of my senators voted for the bill and sold out the American citizens. Neither one will get any of my future votes.
Do you mean the do-nothing de facto amnesty, or the amnesty with punishment+fines?.

If you mean the former, I will vote for the other guy because the sitting Senator is short-sighted and prefers pandering to real solutions.
