i'm 70 years old and i have been living in the usa for last 2 years but i have worked only 3-4 months last year. now can you guys please tell me how can i get any(any kind of) social security benefits? thanks a lot.

Answer:
How dare you ask. Did you pay into social security? I have been paying since 1976, and with people like you out there, I won't be able to get any assistance when I'm your age. I have to work even more and save for my old age. I don't call it retirement, because I will work until I am unable to physically. I was raised to earn my keep and to help others in need. You are not a citizen and do not deserve any of our benefits!! I know people from other countries that came here legally and EARNED their citizenship and are proud to be Americans. You are a leech.
Social Security benefits is according to the points(income) you put into it. If you haven't paid very much you will not get very much. All you can do is go apply for it and see what you can get. Also, you have to have a valid Social Security Number and 2 forms of ID.
It take about 10 years of work. But you should be able to get SSI from the countery you came from and i 10 years get it from USA to.
Social Security payments are based on a points system. You earn points for your income over your work history. If you've only worked a total of 3-4 months, your income will most likely NOT be enough to collect social security.
In order to apply, you must have a social security number and valid US identification.
Social Security Disability is figured differently. It's based on current income and (obviously) whether or not you're disabled, regardless of your age. The same ID listed above are required.
You can't get SSA retirement benefits without earning 40 credits which is generally ten years of work, no less though. You can't get SSI without being in the country for five continuous years.
Oh, get a life, you are just trying to get people on this site in a uproar.
You have to have so many units. Call the SSI office and get more info.
In order to claim benefits, you must have worked and paid taxes for at least 10 years. Considering you have done neither of these, you won't qualify for benefits. There are ways to "pay-in" to the system to get certain benefits like Medicare, but considering you have only been here 2 years and worked only for 3-4 months, you're not eligible to even do that.

If you are a US citizen or permanent resident, then you should be able to claim food stamps and Medicaid.
