Most large cities have people who will sell fake IDs and fake social security cards. The local Catholic church is a good place for them to find who and where to purchase fake documents. Also, a lot of employers will pay cash under the table to day-workers.
Ever hear of "working for CASH"? There are loads of ways to work, get paid and NOT have a SS number. They come here illegally!!!

If the person who had their SS# stolen is alive and working, they get hit for tax evasion. How is that fair?
Yes, you need a social securty # to work in the states and yes some illegals steal them in order to work.The one's who get paid under the table, are because employers cheat the govt. to avoid paying withholding taxes.Who is to blame on that one? Its a much greater crime to NOT pay withholding than to work here illegally..The last people in the world you want coming after you is the IRS..

Have you never heard of getting paid under the table.. that means that they are getting paid and not having taxes taken out- which is what happens with most illegals.. now there are instances where they will steal a person's identity and use their SS # - then they do get taxes taken out and do not receive a return at the end of the year... but they are stealing someone else's identity.. so they don't really deserve money back
If someone is being paid cash, under the table, payroll taxes are not being withheld. They can't receive a paycheck unless they have a social security number - which they don't have.
If they steal a SS# to work, that's a felony, they are causing their VICTIM to go through hell because they have to deal with the problems with the taxing authorities!
Sure they pay sales tax but since they don't make much money, their spending power is limited. The do pay property taxes through their rent, again very minimal. Taxpayers are shelling out over $22,400 each year for each illegal family. They are destroying our country. Why should CA taxpayers have to pay over $9 BILLION each year for the illegals?
So, when people say that the illegal alien criminals don't pay taxes, IT IS NOT CRAP! They are breaking the law and NOT paying taxes.
They are costing this country an estimate $50 BILLION each year. That's $50 billion that should go to citizens!

The other is this -- that benefit only applies if they are NOT legalized. If that is your only support of illegal immigration, does that mean you oppose legalization which would pay them many times what they paid in?
