You should have worried about OUR borders right after 911!
I personally wrote to Condi Rice AND called my senators and congressman soon after 911 and begged them to use our military to secure our OWN borders and protect our air space. Of course it did no good. And yes, the govt did a little something about airport security. But I've been flying everywhere for several months.and security is more and more lax everytime I fly.
Oh well.; Perhaps one day our government will realize that some of its own citizens have more brains they they do!

I'm not answering your question. I want to commend you for using your rights as a citizen. If we had more people that acted the way you did maybe things would change But I am a bit pessimistic about our government being concerned about what we think. Good try and again I commend you. At least you learned something about how much the government cares about our concerns.
Terrorists have been smuggled across the southern border according to House testimony last year. However, I agree, I don't categorize Mexicans as terrorists.
On the other hand, illegal immigration, by ruining our schools for our own children and closing hospitals and draining services has caused us more damage than terrorism has, as a country, in my opinion. That is illegal immigration from everywhere, not just Mexico.
The war on illegal immigrants is just now getting prime attention. I only wish we could put land mines along our borders. BOOM...the end of illegal fence jumping...
Those Mex's kill more people every year than the 911 attack through drunk driving ,homicide, etc.

I have seen pictures circulating around the net of a predominantly Hispanic American high school which raised the Mexican flag above an upside-down American flag. What this photo doesn't show is the cheering Mexi-retards standing around it! Perhaps not terrorism, but quite disturbing. Have a looksy, and try not to puke while viewing it.
The question speaks to a border control issue. If it is that easy to infiltrate this country, it 'represents' the larger threat that terrrorists could do the same.
I haven't heard anyone claim they thought Mexicans had something to do with the September 11th attacks. What I have heard, researched, and firmly believe is, that because our border security is weak and approx. 10,000 illegals are coming into this country illegally each day (majority are Hispanic), we're at the prime time for an attack to happen.
Are you kidding?! We always have had more brains then our government elected representatives.
Anyway - Since the passing of the 1986 immigration reform bill our government elected were suppose to be shoring up the borders and air space from the corrupt government of Mexico. They were suppose to enforce the then new laws and go after businesses, employers, and any other party hiring, helping, housing, or haboring illegals in the country. Or assisting them in any way to remain in the country. Most of these people who are here illegally in the first place is because they have overstayed after their visas expired. Which ever visa they used to get in. By fining them, jailing them, taking their vehicles, and properties away from employers, businesses, and illegals, and the others who continue to help them. It was suppose to stop such an invasion of illegals in the first place.
So now the government is going to get the backlash of this mess they voted on in 1986 and ignored since then. And why shouldn't they?
Like someone else said here once. If we had a bunch of employees (government representatives) hired at our businesses, and places of employment - how long do you think they would last before they were fired for not doing their job. And this is exactly what we have in Washington D.C. with the exceptions to the ones who have been trying to control it from the get go.
So talk about the majority rules mentality. If we have a majority of jerk-offs who want to sit on their *sses and do nothing in our government... in Washington D.C.,... that's exactly what's going to happen whether the minority wants to fix it or not.
I think you just misunderstood. What they are saying is if it is so easy for Mexicans to cross the border, who is keeping the terrorists out? But on the other hand that does not say that some terrorists are Mexican. I live in a bordering state to Mexico. Everyday you hear things on the news and read about it in the newspapers. Some of these illegals come here and rape, kidnap, kill, steal and many other crimes.Then they run back over the border when the heat is on. It is fairly easy to come back when the cops have something else to do and cause more crime.
