If you have an area that has a population consisting of 10% "white" people and 90% of them are of "ethnic origin" then obviously the statistics for "ethnic minorities" are going to be higher! Same goes if the percentages were the other way around.The statistics out there that are force feeding that "black" or "Asian" people have a higher crime rate and imprisonments is because that area is located within ethnic communities. I don't see the boot on the other foot, no headlines that say the "white" communities full of criminals or prisons overcrowded by "white" criminals (although they do say they are overcrowded, they don't get into race, etc)! There can never be a true reading of statistics because different areas have different percentages of "ethnic" or "white" people inhabiting them....As for enriching or indebting...all the people in prison are indebting Britain regardless of their ethnicity. I personally think that all law abiding, hard working people enrich Britain ( although I'm not denying there are people out there that don't).
Statistics can be made to back up ANY point you want.

If there is a connection between slavery and crime then the Jews should top the list, over the last few thousand years the Jews were in forced servitude longer than the blacks.
Are you just trying to cause a race row? "They" originally came to the UK as immigrants about 70 years ago now. And In fact I believe "we" invited them. So the question of are they enriching or indebting the UK is completely irrelevant. "They" are "We" "We"=UK.
