I agree completely. Our government spends about 3.2 billion dollars on care for Mexican immigrants who require treatment at our hospitals. If this money had to stay in the health care reinbursement funds I much rather have it go to legal American who pay taxes. We pay for their kids to go to school, do they pay taxes? If they want any kind of public assitance they should be required to pay taxes.

Mexico should certainly take care of it's people. America should take care of it's people in New Orleans first, not in Iraq, Africa, Kurdistan, etc., etc..

I think we all have a moral duty to help each other, regardless of political and geographic affiliations.
Money should never take priority over a human being. I just wish other countries wouls follow the American example of financial aid to poverty stricken areas.
Mexico only takes care of their people here. They are not living day to day there. The whole country needs to be invaded and reformed. Nothing they've did for 100 years has accomplish very much.
Agree with you that America should help all of its citizens first. The problem with illegal immigration would end tomorrow if businesses were fined 1,000 dollars per illegal alien hired.
Its not just Mexicans. Its half the continent of South America who have crossed our borders illegally.
The Latino population is growing fast , be prepared in the near future to be the minority and they toss your bum to Canada.
Sorry, but it is the land of the free. Just think, your ancestors probably came over from poverty stricked, disease infected, dictator ruled, war countries to like Mexico, I admit illegally is wrong, but the Mexicans shouldn't be singled out. Yes we are going through some stuff, but suck it up. Help yourself and help others, some of this stuff we can fix on our own. Like NASA, what do we need it for? Cause science geeks still have questions? The War... Mexicans are fighting, and dying, in it to gain citizenship and so we can be "safe" over here. Somebody mentioned New Orleans. A lot of people were left homeless because of the hurricanes. Therefore good people from around the nation donated millions and millions to the Red Cross to help. I posted the ? on this site asking why were this people not being helped. Several answered it is not their function to help individuals.Do people really think a person who loses his home is gonna really care what agency help comes from. My point, it is not their duty either.

Yes!! Mexican government sucks, they help their peasants come here so they don't have to deal with them! It's not our duty but everyone would rather hire a mexican then spend an extra 2 bucks an hour!
