Do U think all Americans with Hispanic/Latino last names deserve rights to reunify with thy Mexican relatives?

In other Words; is the Immigration law fair with Mexicans?
Don't you think " Mexican Nationals" deserve certain privileges stipulated in Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo ?
Is the average American faliliar with that historical Mexican-American Treaty ?

Answer:
There are NO privileges for LIVING Mexicans or Mexican Americans covered by the treaty. Please read it. There were certain advantages (they could leave or stay, not bring others) if they chose within ONE YEAR and that year passed over a hundred years ago.

Family reunification is one of the many things that has made our immigration not work for our industry. Spouse and minor kids, yes, but at some point they make a choice when they leave their family back home, to begin with.
yes
Only if ye'll be allowing me to bring me kin in from the Emerald Isle boy O.

T'would only be fair.
>>>I do think they should be able to reunify with their Mexican relatives AS LONG as it is in Mexico and DOES NOT cost me a dime.
As long as I do not have to pay anything for it, that would be fine. How about including anyone with an Irish or German last name too. I have a 5th cousin removed (and her family of 8) that the US could support too.
I agreed with you there, but then come another country call "israel" and it able ride to the top and now consider a "privilege nation", not only it get special treatment from u.s but also economic aid every yrs.

u.s force to prove israel 5 billion dollars in aid every yrs. plus free interest loan of 8 billions and guaranteed not to pay back.

u.s is building a wall along side mex-u.s to keep mexican out

Who's really control the u.s government now do you know ?
Jew or mexican nationals with privileges stipulate in treaty of guadalupe hidalgo or historical mexican-american treaty.
I, as well as most, have no problem with you returning home to reunite with your family. Be careful in your travels back home.
Whoa, wait a minute! You assume too many things. Illegals have no rights at all; people from another country, legal or illegal, have no rights of citizenship here. We have no rights in Mexico; we are allowed to visit, to spend money, but we can not find a job, buy property, vote, and for certain we would not get food stamps or any thing else.
Do they have a right to "reunify" with Mexican relatives? No, except as allowed by law; that is, they can get a passport and go through all the red tape that I or any other American citizen would have to go through.
As I said, you assume too much. Just because someone has a "Hispanic/Latino" last name (surname) DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE FROM MEXICO! Those names originated in Spain, Portugal and Italy! You will find that once you go south of the border, all the way to the tip of South America and through out the Carribean the predominant surnames are Spanish.
Not to mention, that is very common in the Philippines. I rather doubt if my wife wants to "reunify" with Mexican relatives.
As to your treaty, I will say only this: The American Government is Washington, D.C., gave to my great uncle, Red Cloud, all the land between "my two mountains", that is, all the land east of the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming and Montana east to the Missouri River, including South Dakota and Nebraska. The U.S. never once honored even one single treaty with the People; who are you to think you are better than the People?
You talk about fair; when we can go into Mexico and receive the same treatment that illegal Mexicans receive in the U.S., then you have something to talk about.
Are you asking if the illegal aliens have rights and privileges to bring their families here, just because they are here? Are you saying that all Hispanics and Latinos should be allowed to reunify with their relatives, even though it is contrary to current law? Are you asking if our current laws are unfair to Mexicans?

If I am correct, with all due respect, ARE YOU NUTS! Mexicans, legal or illegal, don't have the right to bring their relatives from Mexico just because they are here. Everyone that is not a citizen of the US MUST come into the country the same way. Why should the Mexicans get different treatment than any other group that has relatives here?

As for our immigration laws, THEY ARE FAIR! Part of the current problem is they aren't being enforced and that's unfair! Are the illegal aliens being fair to US citizens when they sponge off the taxpayer?
WOuld you like to quote the verbatim of what you are referring to? Because it may have been a while since I took Texas history...my memory doesn't recall anything about unification with relatives.

How about something a bit more specific? As I recall there were some land grants for then current Mexican citizens in what became US land...is that what you are referring to?

If so and your ancestors sold the land--too bad, so sad, it ain't yours now.
Of course they should be able to be reunified with their families, as long as it a vacation sight in Mexico. My lord, what would we want their families ( usually incredibly large ) here, too! Why would we need to recognize an historical treaty when these people are here illegally, we don't need to pander to any of them for any reason. Americans of Hispanic descent are a different story, or Mexicans who've become citizens of this nation, I doubt that they want to continue a relationship with Mexico anyway. We don't mind visitors to their families, but they come and never go back! That may be the root of all these illegals in the first place.
First off, all hispanic/latino people in this country are not ALL of MEXICAN Descent!! There are hispanics here from Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Spain as well... Now, as far as the Mexican immigration into the USA, IF and I mean IF any person from ANY country wants to live in this country, then let that person ENTER THE COUNTRY LEGALLY from wherever --and if he or she does NOT come acros our borders with all the proper legal documentation, then they DESERVE to be sent back to their home countries. If the tables were turned and it was a ton of AMERICANS flooding into YOUR countries illegally----you can BET that you'd have regular citizens standing guard at all the borders trying to keep our "dirty American butts" out of your country.. I don't care if ALL the Mexicans in Mexico were to come across our borders to live in the USA---as long as EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WAS A LEGAL IMMIGRANT with all the proper documentation and papers and whatever ..
Not all Americans with Hispanic/Latino last names are from Mexico.
Sure if they want to return to Mexico to live more power to them. However it is unfair for them to get a free pass for entering the country illegally when so many law-abiding people have waited in order to enter legally.

As Paris Hilton whined, "It's not fair!"
Yes. I am a non mexican hispanic. Pls do NOT lump us all as them. Dumb govt to create this title..

I have no family in Mexico. Never did. Mexico is not fair either.

I prefer the US thank god and god bless the USA.

Illegals, go back home and stop stomping on the American way of life.
Yes, Mexican-Chicano, family reunification's are part of the Immigration Reforms agenda.
I'M Sorry to burst your bubble ! But NOT all latino's last names are Mexican . So if you don't know what you are talking about then Don't ask a Dumb *** question !!!!!!
