It's all depend on which state you are in. Most of them will let you go to college, but they will charge you as a 'Out of State' student. This will cost you about 2x more than "In state" student.

ofcourse an illegal alien can go to college....just don't expect the gov't to give you free education...all expenses...like tuition and books .....will have to come out of your own pocket....even if you don't have social security number....the college will provide you with a student ID number which you will use to gain admission and apply and pay for classes...do some research on the college you want to attend prior to applying to study there...good luck...
