I wouldn't care if they were illegal or not as long as they don't wave thier flag in my country, send american dollars that could be used for our economy back to mexico, try and get all the free stuff our government gives to AMERICAN poor, I wouldn't care if they TRIED to speak the language this country speaks which is ENGLISH. My dad became a U.S citizen 10 years ago and he came from Britian, but he lived and worked here for 10 years before that. He did everything legal, why can''t they?

The numbers for illegal immigrants are not very accurate. After all how do you count them, they aren't exactly jumping around waving their hands saying "here, here, I'm illegal"
56% doesn't sound wrong though, The difference between the Mexican illegal & the ones from across the oceans is that most of the others were once legal and have overstayed their visas, so they have had background checks & health checks at one time. The system isn't perfect obviously.

They say it's like 55%. But there's millions from other countries like Asia and Eastern Europe. But you don't hear racist politicians like Tancredo ever mentioning that.
usually I hear that it's around 50-55%
a lot of the rest come from central america and get confused as Mexican b/c they "look Mexican" and speak Spanish
