start of with going to a good photographer and get some photo shots in diferent locations and in different kind of clothes
- swim wear
- casual
- action (doing sports etc)
- smart (suit etc)
try to capture differetn emotions depending on the location and attire
then once u ve compiled this portfolio it shouldnt cost u anymore, u just need to go round advertsing ureself with the porfolio at hand. u might also want to prepare copied of the portfolio with ur cv so that the can aontact u even if it takes some time.
taking lessons doesnt usually get u anywhere

How is a model related to immigration ?
Compromise your principles. Sacrifice your self-respect. Do a lot of drugs. Hang out with self-absorbed a - holes. This should get you off to a good start.
If you are under 5'8" then forget it, you just won't get hired. If you don't wear a sample size, again, forget it, they aren't going to tailor an outfit for you to wear, You don't have to be beautiful, you can paint on a face or go for an individual look, but you do have to be able to relate to a camera as if it were a person you loved. Go to New York, see people from Elite and Ford, you don't have to pay them and if they think you will work out they will put you in contact with photographers for your book. So don't pay someone for photos before that. Don't go to "charm" schools you won't learn what you need and you will need to unlearn' what they teach you. If they say no, believe them and don't waste your time or money trying to be something they want when you aren't.
