Are we losing America to mexico?
Answer:
Yes!
We are fast losing our economic sovereignty as well as our "cultural sovereignty"
With references to "La Reconquista" (the reconquest) and AZTLAN, there is an attitude of entitlement in the air that is more palpable than most anything else.
Safety in numbers.
Conquest by default!
Mexico DEFAULTS on its responsibility to its own citizens and they end up benefiting by that default !
Over 26 billion dollars were sent back to Mexico in 2006. This represents a 15% increase from the year before.
Only Mexican oil revenues surpass this amount, but even that is going to change soon.
Be truthful! Tell the manager of Mc Dees that you are offended by the Mexican music being played while you are eating and that you are ready to take your business elsewhere.
They need to be told these things!
yes
America has been lost. Look at our President. Were in LALA land.
We are not losing america to mexico. there are a lot of hispanics in this country and the restaraunts are just trying to be more culturally aware. i find it sad that americans are starting to become more and more racists every year.
I live in Southern Calif. and am married to a Mexican, and honesty everywhere I go is Spanish, it is pretty overwhelming sometimes.
eh just remember its not like that in the upper states.
Yes. Because the politicians are more concern of being politically correct! These politicians needs their (mexican) votes.
NO, BUT ONE DAY YOU WILL ALL PISS THAT TERRORIST CELL OFF AND YOU'LL COME RUNNING TO US AND I WILL LOOK OVER THE BORDER AND TELL YOU TO **** OFF. HOWS THAT? MEXICAN 31YRS AND LEGAL. THANKS
yes we are. and i don't eat out, people messing with others food scares the hell out of me. at least i know my hands are constantly being washed and the food gets handled properly.
Claro que no! (it means of course not in Mexican.)
Yes it is, the Mexican population is one of the fastest growing in the united states today, and company's are trying there very best to get there money. I used to live in San Diego for a number of years and i would see signs that were in Spanish all over the place, as well as like you said Mexican music in a place where before it was soft easy music. I also had to learn some Spanish since a lot of customers where i used to work could not speak any English. I have no issue with others who come here legally to live, but they should learn to live in an English speaking society, and not the other way around.
That kind of sounds like favoritism to have one music style playing to it's customers/employees. If one enjoys the music that's one thing. They should also include other nationalities music if they are going to do that in the first place. Otherwise I think I would call that brainwashing to accept one culture over another. Complain to McDee's headquarters.
Get over it. Move to your "home" european country of descent or wherver the hell you came form, if the new America bothers you.
Americans always have embraced many cultures as their own culture, but i think mexican stuff it's getting more and more in this days, i saw Hillary Duff eating chiles rellenos the other day on tv, whats next?
ps im Mexican
Yes we are. If we close the borders, ship the illegal’s out, prosecute the employers who hire them, make English the national language, ban landlords from renting to them, and use American dollars only, we will have America back. Legal immigration is the right and only thing to do. Mexican music is fine but not in a American restaurant.
Pretty soon we'll be forced to speak Spanish as Spanish will be the dominant language in America. Hispanics will outnumber whites too. What are people going to do?
Try going to Wal-Mart and hearing that ****. Like musak wasn't bad enough, now it's mariachi in aisle 3? I don't think so!
Kansas City has a HUGE Mexican population and it is split right down the middle. You've got the 3rd and 4th generation whose great-grandparents came here because they WANTED to be AMERICANS and have a much better life. And then you have the 1st generation anchor babies and illegals who have no desire to become citizens or assimilate in any way and are just here to make money and send it home to Mexico.
Just like all immigrant communites, there are people that want to assimilate and be part of their adoptive countries and there are people that came over for nothing but money. Seek out the former and get them involved in these protests. They have just as much to lose as we do if amnesty is granted.
And remember, illegals aren't just Mexicans. They are from all over the world. Russia to Jamaica, Israel to Vietnam. And for every 10 illegals from the country, there is 1 legal immigrant that worked their butt off to get here and stay here.
Even the Yahoo accepts that there is a need to appease Hispanic Americans in USA
When we have a President whose sister-in-law is Mexican; and religious leaders rejoicing and preying on the flow of Mexicans into the U.S. to try win converts; dirty corporations here wanting cheap foreign labor but look at Americans as their consumers; and with Mexicans here trying to stretch their power-base to take over America, and with Mexicans in Mexico having to find consumers in the US for their illegal drugs and prostitution businesses, and American tax-dollars to pay for the social welfare of the Mexican school-dropouts and its jobless citizens, is it any surprise that we ain't losing America to Mexico?
We'll get it back.
I understand your question and your concern, that is the same questions lots of people here in Mexico is wondering since all of the restaurants and music in the radio and schools, internet and everthing refers to the US. There are lots of US people here and mexicans wonder if we are losing mexico to the US and the answer is no for both questions.
Is just a matter of global economy, there are us employees here and there are mexican employees there. So take it easy your country still being yours and mine too
