So lets pose a hypothetical question?
Answer:
(Haha. An "Atlas Shrugged" scenario. I love it. Would we be able to shield our new country from sight? That'd be nice.)
Of course they'd come. And it'd turn into a hellhole, just like Mexico.
There's nothing special about the location of the United States. It's our customs, our laws, and our traditions that make us great.
Mexico, on the other hand, has leftist traditions and politics, and the "haves" have just about everything. They'd turn America into Mexico.
Still can't figure out why all the Mexicans who come here don't stay in Mexico and do something about the situation there.
VIVA LA REVOLUCION!
lol how dare u insinuate that the american government is of any value. u definalty wanna leave that behind in the usa it will make ur new country corrupt
nope i aint commin ova im staying wea i am
No. Illegal aliens want to go to where the MONEY is. That would be with the United States citizens.
nope.
They wouldn't because what they want is freebies
I don't think it would happen. We'd rent it out to China and India because they have a population problem, then use the proceeds to buy Mexico.
no stupid lol, the reason for immigration is to seek opportunities and better ways of life, immigrants in general go to anywhere in general where theres better opportunity and a better way of life
What makes you think just people of your ilk built this country? It was people from all over the world, not just the Europeans.Where do you get off? Yeah, I think the illegals would come here and make it work. That's the operative word, they actually "WORK"..One last thing, why not give it back to the natives, from which you stole it? Get over yourself!
Because they have an oppressive govt. in Mexico, why didn't YOUR ancestors make it work??? Why didn't they stay in Europe and fix their own countries??
No your wrong, the first immigrants were of Asian descent, not Caucasian..
Of course they will still come and they will fight over the land just as mankind has done as long as they have been on this planet
Long before oil was discovered people fought over the land of sand that is now Iran, Iraq, etc.
Of course; but not in as great numbers, or with the same aspirations. Everyone wants to live a better life if they can; their children have a future.
they would continue to leech off of us. the majority of mexico is illiterate. they wouldn't know how to work the ground. where would they get the seeds to grow, their gov wouldn't help them.
Not if public assistance doesn't come with it... Great hypothetical question... But... I'm sure pro-illegals won't get the point!
this is a stupid question! there are many more viable resources and more fertile land in the u.s.a. than Mexico.... of course they would still come over anyone who has half a brain would choose prosperity over desert land... Mexicans aren't dumb!! why do you think they are coming here??
do you know what the real problem is that people don't want to admit.. Mexicans are 10x better labor and skilled hard workers than most americans and they aren't half as greedy!
90% of the illegal mexicans i've met(which i'm sure is alot more than you) are the most sensible and humble people in the world.
THey don't want to enter our land but our society. The problem is they only want to enter part way. As for the person who criticize you for assuming Europeans built this land. You said Americans, with out refering race of Americans.
They would move onto upwards into Canada, seeking benefits and "rights" from the Canadians.
Meanwhile, the cities of the old USA would decay from lack of maintenance. The highways would crack and never be repaired.
The Canadians would be as beleaguered as we are now.
Soon, they would be applying to the new US to be LEGAL
immigrants there.
Of course, by then we would wisely have adopted the strict immigration laws used currently by Mexico and only if they could prove they could support themselves and benefit our society would they be granted status.
PS. Love this question.
