It is a start.I STILL think the whole thing is a bad idea...but at least it is a step in the right direction.
Probably doing this to try to prevent people suing them for letting the Mexicans into the USA without proper safety standards...
If it's anything like No Child Left Behind then there will be many many more accidents in the future

there crazy. i was told today by my husbands friend that a mexican man came to his shop needing a part. he had his 13 year old son with him. the boy is always with him. he's never in school. the man was bragging in broken English that his son drives and has his own car. i thought it was against the law to let minors drive. this bill if passed is like putting a kid behind the wheel.
Mexican trucks entering US was the top reason I was against Nafta. Their was so MANY other reason I was against it. In third world countries, the rights of a driver is so different from those who drive here. The reckless behavior, is ridiculous. I hear horror stories about how people load up vehicles, in India and Mexico. People from third world country think they own the road, because they have cars. They often are overly aggressive with their vehicle due to overcrowded roads. Not only that, but it would decrease the safety of America. If they had to turn over the vehicle or unload it at the border, it is less likely an illegal items would enter our country.
While I am against most laws, new or existing, this one is necessary. NAFTA should be repealed, the North American Union should be exposed and eliminated and people should be tried in a court of law for giving away American sovereignty for a few pesos in their corrupt pockets. I'm looking at Clinton and Bush first and foremost.
