When are you going to wake up and realized that illegal immigration is hurting this country?
Answer:
Unless you can get the Corporations to answer this question and to actually care more about the harm they are doing to the United States than the money that is bulging out of their pockets, it won't matter how wide awake we are. As someone told me earlier, we have to stop allowing them to work on our house, don't hire them to mow your lawns, if they approach you for work, as for ID, if they don't have a green card or any proof of citizenship, turn them in. Don't go to the gas stations where you know they trade thier workers every few months, that's a sign of illegals, if you see them working anywhere, turn in the employer. There are alot of things that we citizens can do to change this situation. We don't have to sit back and hope someone does this for us, don't talk to the telemarketer on the phone unless they are a U.S. Citizen, because they are responsible for having taken jobs from U.S. Citizens, if you call to get help fixing your computer and you can tell it's not an American, ask for one, if they can't provide one, write a letter to thier company telling them that you cannot understand the person you have been connected with, and will tell all of your friends who were going to purchase this brand computer that they shouldn't because the people working for this company are not American, and cannot be understood enough to offer any help. If big companies lose money due to thier hiring practices, they will realize that it's not good for their business. If a store cannot make money because of the people they hire to run it, it will close, as was said before, you can starve the illegals out. We have ways of making life hell for them and getting our lives back for us. We just all have to be on the same page, stick together.
I woke up during the 2006 "day without a Mexican" marches in my city. Been pissed ever since.
Greedy corporate leaders that created illegal immigration have ruined this country. Be smart and place the blame where it belongs on the wealthy who controls things-- and then make them pay!
Bring back the jobs. Destroy NAFTA!
I'm wide awake! Been so since the 70's when they feared authority!
The pro-illegals will definitely wake up when the $hit finally hits the fan! American citizens are boiling & our U.S.A. melting pot is about to boil over. We are just waiting to see what ideas come from the Senate/government. If they are not saying what the American people want to here... you'd better believe the American protest will greatly out-number any Mexican/pro-illegal protest. Just be ready to fight the big fight. I know I will!!! No amnesty!!! Deport all illegal aliens!!!
I'm wide awake.. I knew we had an illegal immigration problem but never really realized how bad it was until that day without an immigrant rally they had... then I realized how bad the problem actually is.. we certainly need to get control of the situation
I started seeing a problem when I moved to so. CA about 21 years ago.
They take our jobs, do not have to pay taxes to OUR government, and my goodness seems to me that they are better cared for than some of us USA citizens...I have been awake for this for many many years, it stinks and it pisses me off...rules of the land are rules of the land..and if we are expected to follow rules in another country than why in the hell can't others follow ours? Fair is fair.
i woke up last year when i saw how the illegals disrespected our country. and burned our flag. with some people it might take a brick building falling on their heads.
No kidding. Everyone keeps preaching "comprehensive immigration reform". How about enforcing our current laws? If that happened we may be able to get a better handle on the ammount of legal immigrants we truly need, and we'd be able ensure assimilation. Not to mention we'd have the ability to up our quotas from countries experiencing serious human rights violations and genocide **cough**Sudan**cough**
Hypothetically, if Mexico was the 51th U.S. state, all the Mexicans in the U.S. would be the same as any American today who migrates for a job.
Looks like I proved that your question is faulty: If the illegal international migrants were bad, then American national migrants would have to be bad too, which I've never heard ever????
well i am so sorry (not) but i guess i wont wake up because the fact is that without illiegal immigrants u "americans" wouldent have hardly any of the things that u survive on they do the hard work which you people dont do so i guess there are a lot of us that dont care what u "americans" think
Click the link to learn about one legal method a foreigner may enter the U.S. http://www.unitedstatesvisas.gov/studyin... This method in particular is given to those who can afford to pay the fees and prove to the U.S. that they can take care of themselves financially. When an international student is enrolled and registered either in a university or a college the student must maintain a full-time status, that is they have to attend 12.0 or more college credit hours, usually 4 to 5 classes. A student can lose his status because the professor records a grade of W, this means a student does not earn college credit hours; in turn the student is notified and informed that he is in violation. Read carefully, it is important for Americans to know this; the student contacts the professor that gave him a grade of W, the student begs, cries, bribes, and etc.etc. Guess what? The student is now in compliance. Have you any idea how many professors change the grade to save the student from getting deported, that is back to Asia, meaning Pakistan, India, China, Korea, and or the Middle East, meaning Iran and Syria, and do not forget Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Recall, one must prove finances are in order. What are you going to do about the people that arrive to the U.S. legally and then lose their status? Why are the students getting a W? Where are they? Are they working and getting paid under the table? Why are they not in class? Out-of-status means you are currently an illegal, therefore a criminal. Mi Americanos expand your knowledge on the populace as a whole, our concerns need to broaden and include all foreigners, out-of-status, means out of here. Be concerned, be very concerned over the people entering the U.S. legally; they will awake from that sleeper cell, fortunately for them, they will cry out, “I am here legally”, all the while terrorizing our family and friends. Let us focus and include Universities and colleges, where illegal practices are conducted semester after semester, year after year. I smell a criminal. Something rotten smells in student Visas. Who is the criminal? Is it the “out-of-status” student or professors changing grades to save a student from getting deported?
Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. America love it or leave it. Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. Leave it Now. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators! No amnesty, no "stealth-amnesty." No "change of status," marriage fraud, "exceptional leave to remain," no "Temporary Protected Status." If you break the law, depart or be deported. Illegal aliens kill more US citizens each year than the war in Iraq has killed in four years. Apologists for illegal immigration like to paint it as a victimless crime. But in fact, illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population--the poor, minorities, and children. Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants willing to work at substandard wages and working conditions depresses the wages of American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees. Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America--crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and straining precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. Taxpayers are being forced to pay for the free health care, education, and other welfare programs being given to illegal aliens; Those tax dollars could be given back to U.S. taxpayers or used to keep our borders secure; They may be here illegally, but they sure know how to "work the system" to collect "free" medical care, "free" education, "free" food, Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance, and hundreds of other social services. It costs citizens additional hundreds of billions of tax dollars at every level: local, state, and federal. It gobbles up billions of our charitable contributions. And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. The ratio works out to roughly 7-10 workforce entrants per job created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level. And not even the attacks of 2/26 and 9/11 have awakened many Americans to the vast dangers illegal immigration poses to our selves, our families, our communities, our society, our values, our principles, our civilization. Zero Tolerance for Immigration-Law Violators! We must remember the lessons of 2/26, 9/11, and the costs we bear every single day. God Bless the U S A !
I woke up a long time ago around 16 years of age. now I'm 23. we need no amensty and deport the illegals. cut off the border control. We need to get our country under control before we keep going out and fighting other countries battles.
wake up!! it`s been destroyed already , now is run by a bunch of Europeeans racists like yourself!!
Yes! illegal immigration is indeed hurting the country. This is the very reason we must ask congress to enact legalization soon.
keep the hard working, family oriented people who want nothing more than to support their own.Include a fine to be paid in monthly installments.
The country would save money on law enforcement and legal costs.
The fines would reimburse the government for expensive justice fees.
and workers would become respected and more respectable by virtue of their legal residency.
No more hiding, no fear, no welfare for those unable to fit in this society, the freedom could go to their heads; they could be grateful. fences and patrolmen make tense neighbors.
I think the first step (and least costly) is to overturn the 14th amendment to the constitution. It was originally intended to grant citizenship to former slaves after slavery was abolished. It no longer has a purpose. Get rid of it. Then the next step (second least costly) is to stop free aid to illegal immigrants. No Ticky - No Laundry. No Greencard - No help. I have nothing against the Mexican people. They are a great and hard working people with a real high standard for family values. But illegal means the same thing in any language. This is the problem that I have with the immigration issue. What part of Illegal do you not understand? Let's not forget that three of the six people arrested in New Jersey attempting to carry out terrorist acts against our troops at Ft Dix and other locations were here in this country illegally, and they were operating a roofing business. HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET A LICENSE TO OPERATE A BUSINESS IF THEY WERE HERE ILLEGALLY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
You are right ...If the laws are not upheld and we continue to carry the burden of all these illegals from different countries, we will wake up in 15 to 20 years to a totally different culture, language and society as a whole.. A country can only survive when there is balance..
You can not impose a different culture on one that has been set
for so many generations and not have backlash or consequences.. I see an implosion coming to the great USA if balance is not restored back to our cultural heritage.
Rules for Foreigners
This is unreal. Maybe we should adopt some of these rules. Harsh you say?
1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, and all government business will be conducted in our language.
2. Foreigners will not have the right to vote, no matter how long they are here.
3. Foreigners will never be able to hold political office.
4. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care or any other government assistance programs.
5. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
6. If foreigners come and want to buy land that will be OK, but options will be restricted. They are not allowed to own waterfront property. That property is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
7. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no "bad-mouthing" our president or his policies. If they do, they will be sent home.
8. If they come to this country illegally, they will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.
Harsh, you say?
The above laws happen to be the immigration laws of Mexico.
When it comes to immigration issues in American, it doesn't seem to matter who you vote for (Rep.or Dem.), both seem to do very little about the problem. We should have immiration laws in America as Mexico does. As the old saying goes, what's good for the goose is good for the gander!
