Grew up on a farm. Dad never hired any "illegals".
He never had any problem hiring workers either. He paid a decent wage and worked right beside them.
So did both my Grandpas. They all made a good living and supported their families.
Penalize those who hire illegals...and quickly.

Absolutely I agree with you. I get tired of hearing that illegals just do jobs that americans won't do. that is B>S> When I lived in Cali, in the san jaquin valley, an american didn't have a chance at any of the harvesting jobs. Producers hire illegals and their families and their children and grandchildren. I've seen them all out there, picking olives and grapes right along with their mamas and poppies. I think that's disgraceful not only for the farmer who hires them, but for the parents who keep the kids hauling fruit and skipping school.
in fact, at some of the camps out there, (camps for illegal farm workers) most of the kids aren't even required to go to school since so many work with their parents.
Also, the camps arent' the greatest, but they provide fair housing for the illegals (although they always say migrant workers) that is free. Tell me there's not an American who would take a job that includes housing, health and cheap food.
