This will come up again, and I would keep an eye out. The White House was hinting yesterday that they have all autumn to get it through. I'm not sure he will convince the reps to take it on again. A number have taken quite a beating. But if he can get it brought back to the floor while no one is watching, he will surely try.
They tried that with the union vote Tuesday. It failed on cloture, then Reid spun about and brought it back a few hours later. (It failed again.)
Since this technically failed on lack of Senators (it was only 54 against by actual vote with about 8 or 10 Senators missing) he might try to put those missing Senators on the spot some time in the future. Who knows?
The one thing this bill has shown beyond a doubt is that a vast number of our Senators think subterfuge against their constituents is perfectly ok.

It kinda looks that way. However if they do NOT build the 700 miles of fnece they already funded then you can be sure they have NOT.
I wish I could say that about my Senators, but they have lost my vote. I am so proud of the American people for sticking to their guns on this. The government needs to understand that we are not going to put up with this anymore.
