Completely. When a hospital cannot ask if somone is a citizen (incase they can qualify for assistance) because they're afraid of being sued or being labled as racist, it's definately a problem. I never understood why we care soo much about offending people. If you ask me, I think that people are just way too sensitive and need to get over it if somone says somthing they don't like.
Way outta hand...it's time to stop the BS and take America back.

You think the US will accept the illegals because of the political correctness?? How about Guantanamo Bay?? No, the US don't really give a damn about correctness... Everything has its purpose, if the illegals are accepted, it is because somebody somewhere in the US government establishment has decide it was important to do so... But the question is important for who? My guess the minority, as only businesses really have advantages to keep illegals here, and maybe some neocons that need them to vote for some very conservative policies that they are sure will get rejected by the vast majority that can think.
Political Correctness is much worse in Britain. British people are forbidden to fly the national flag for fear of causing offence. Around Christmas time, nativity plays are banned in schools and nativity scenes banned in shop displays. Those imposing these bans say they are doing it to avoid offending Muslims but genuine Muslim leaders say there is no need for such foolishness because no Muslim would be offended either by a display of patriotism or by a Christian display. However, now the bans have been imposed, the petty officials who devised and implemented them them, refuse to back down

Our ancestors were illigal immigrants here in America and that doesn't stop them from killing innocent people and take their lands.When it was in their best interest they didn't hesitate to bring African here illegally and treated them worse than animals . I think anyone should be allowed to live wherever he found suitable to him and his familly.

the only way to make sure that we are not attacked once more by terrorist coming through airports is to make sure that every single person in every airport with destination to the USA is screened NOT only those which appear to be Muslims . as far as i know they do not hold sings saying : " hey look at me i am a terrorist " neither all of them are Arab looking as u seem to believe ... in my opinion every single person in an airport should be treated the same way and i bet u would think differently to what u think now if u were to be confused for an Arab .
about the undocumented in the USA yes we can do something about them and that is to give them an opportunity to continue to work if that its what they are actually doing ... think about it , how could 11 millions or so be deported just like that ... there is not way and yes we would appear as the most racist people all over the face of the planet if we even dare to do so . there is not a single country in the world which look at the Hispanics as radicals or something to be worried about , so why should we ? that its the question .

Political correctness was old stuff when Joe McCarthy was spewing out his version in the 1950s. Consider the diatribes of Cato and Bibulous against Julius Caesar, or the assaults by Elijah and Elisha on Ahab. As long as there have been two sides to an argument there have been extremists who assume the other are not simply wrong, but also evil.
