You seem to be forgetting that if the nazis had succeded in tanking over europe, america would most likely had falled aswell.
As i see it america did the only thing they could to save their own ***, they helped us beat the nazi, not to help europe, but to save your own ***.

Well you should just hope the US never need any help in future because there will be a few nations in Europe that would probably enjoy seeing the US squirm for a little while before helping them out just as Europe did when the US took their time in coming to our aid.
Yes, not only did we save their butts not once but twice from the Germans, and then we funded the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe, and to this day we spend a good deal of our defense budget to keep them save even now. And they treat us like they are doing us a favor, but allowing all this

Alot of European people dont bash the people of the US, they just dont agree with the US government. Even so, when Bush wanted to start the war against terror, many European countries backed him and sent their own troops to help. Now, once Iraq was invaded, many realised that this was no longer a war against terror and they withdrew their troops as they felt it was a war that did not involve them, although there are still European troops there this day. And remember that the Americans wanted nothing to do with the war in Europe until Pearl Harbor was bombed, so it's not like they rushed to the aid of the Europeans until they were involved somehow.
Yes ! They can sent troops to help us fight the "invasion" of our Southern Border , just kidding ! My Granddad is under one of the 10,000 Crosses` at Normandy ( Omaha Beach ) , I`m sure he was glad to help preserve the freedom of the Nations in Europe that were in need at the time, as it was a different time back then ! There are 1,557 American Hero's` of Normandy at Omaha Beach that have no cross to honor their sacrifice and the same for European Hero`s I`m sure !! I am an American that believes that there are "no" favors between friends , only respect ! God Bless All Who Gave So Much , America`s Best and Free Europe's` Best . We , on either side of the Atlantic should not lower our Hero's` sacrifice by playing the " Blame Game " . It is Finished ! Even if they don't agree with everything the US does, we've still got a very good relationship when you think about it. Imagine any major natural disaster/mainland invasion scenario. I can't imagine the US/Europe not sending aid if the situation actually became that dire.
