Why aren't more Hispanics more like this one?
The truth is, we (Hispanics) don't like seeing what illegal immigration is doing to our communities, our schools, our health system, our judicial system and our state. We don't like paying for the living expenses of illegal immigrants.
You're probably saying they work hard and contribute to our society, but the truth is they don't pay enough into the system compared to what they take out. Our hospitals are crowded with the uninsured. Our schools have special, expensive programs to help non-English speaking children. Our jails are filled with drug dealers, gang members, rapists and murderers that are illegal immigrants. What I don't understand is why they think we should pay their way for a better life?
As my grandfather used to say: "Viva Mexico? What did Mexico ever do for me?"

I am pleasantly surprised and relieved to finally see a legal mexican speaking out against illegal mexicans who are clearly a drain on our society and our culture and economy! As mad as I am over these illegal, illiterate, demanding, ungrateful mexicans that have invaded (like cockroaches) the USA, I am just as livid at our own government for allowing it to happen, and not doing enough about it thus far, to ensure that this problem gets reversed and corrected! It makes me absolutely sick that when I go to my bank or make a call to a US company, or go to my local Lowe's store that I get asked if I would like my selection in English or Spanish!!! For God's sake, Lowe's even has all of their signs in their store with Spanish right alongside the English language! What the hell is going on here??? And then to top it off the mexicans don't come here with a humble attitude, they come here and DEMAND that they get special priveledges? And because I have an opinion like this, I get labeled a frickin racist!!! BS! I hope to God any and every "real" American goes to Wahington on June 14-16 to have our OWN rally and can start the motion of the pendulum turning back to where it belongs: to legal, english speaking, law-abiding, hard-working, American citizens, that this country was built on! No one ever said that Hispanic-heritage US citizens support illegal immigration.

A lot of people that are poor are not paying enough for their use of social services either. That is not a problem with me. Our job is to take care of the less fortunate.
In addition, we need to invest more money into preventative programs that will keep kids out of gangs and in school.
Having said all this, I want ALL kids to take advantage of these benefits.

The truth is complicated here. Many illegals are productive members of society and do add positively to the economy and society. On the other hand, there are a lot of MS 13 and other bad element types. the trouble is sorting them all out...
If we really want to fix the illegal immigration problem we have to tackle the corrupt mexican system. Mexico's government is basically a kleptocracy. Mexicans immigrate because they have no meaningful jobs, and no system of starting up their own companies because the banking system is so screwed up. Mexico's economy is intentionally biased towards big corporations and large family run empires, and the wealthy are so greedy and paranoid that they make sure politicians stack the odds against anyone within their borders who wants to start his own small business.
The best thing we could do is invade mexico, kill every one of the politicans and drug lords, and then allow some unbiased/uncorrupted elections to take place. Sigh...that will never happen though.
That reminded me of the immigrant rallies were participants were boldly displaying and waving the Mexican flag. Some anti-rally people should ask them 'what did Mexico ever do for them' except chase them across the border due to the p!$$ poor Mexican economy.
i agree. i don't understand why any one would pick on a fellow American because of the skin color. if they are illegal they need to leave. and Americans need to stop giving fellow Americans a hard time. good question my fellow American.
My wife is a legal Hispanic immigrant from Colombia...she has talked to me in length of how these "Immigrant Rights" groups are only for the Illegal Mexican Immigrant and not all immigrants...I think this is the only issues Conservatives and Liberals agree on...stop illegal immigration...if our elected officals won't we need to fire them and elect ones who will...
I wish we'd see more of them. They understand it's not race but rule of law and are offended as I am by some of the behavior. There was this wonderful hispanic woman from California who gave a great speach at the "Hold their feet to the fire" rally in DC. Lupa or something like that. She was fantastic. I want to hear more from people like her.

Hispanics go to small clinics! they pay out of their pockets between $25-$100, for consultation and whatever medicine is extra.

Schools are providing a necessary service by teaching other languages.
all other countries teach at least 2 languages, We are falling behind on the rest of the world by just wanting to teach / learn in English.
