What do you think of Oklahoma passing the strictest illegal immigration bill in the country?

Answer:
Hopefully the rest of the country will follow suite. Especially states like florida, texas, arizona, new mexico and california.
Good for Oklahoma!!
I think Oklahoma isn't on the border, so why should they care?
Good for them.
YAH HOO

That's how I feel about it.
Go SOOOOONNNNNERS!
Good for them! I would have enjoyed reading the story, do you have a link possibly?
I live in Las Vegas, and our Illegal situation is horrid. I am glad that FINALLY a state is following the law. NO Sanctuary cities, NO ANYTHING! Also Oklahoma is really looking out for its own, knowing that more immigrants going to their state drastically cuts down on the funding for things that need to be done there for their own state... Schools, Elderly care, etc.
Its great!
it's great. all of America needs to follow Oklahoma's lead.
Is that the state where all the rednecks live?

I wondered where ours went...I think its completely unfounded and a waste of government time. Like someone else said OK really doesnt have an immigration problem..they just wanted a little attention!
i think i will move to Oklahoma.

now how about legal immigration?

we are losing jobs. companys should not be allowed to go to a country, hire workers, then bring them back here to work for a year at half what we get paid.
Oklahoma, your are okay!
The federal government should follow their lead and take enforcement action immediately.
What bill? Let me know about it so I can call the ACLU
Hey, California, see what OK did? Follow their example!!!
and what are the details? where is the link ? U R just making this up, or is Oklahoma : OKKK,
there is nothing in Oklahoma, only cows everywhere . and man made lakes , attracting tourism , and they have flyiers in spanish too. so what you are saying is BS. U R so funny
Rules for Foreigners

This is unreal. Maybe we should adopt some of these rules. Harsh you say?

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, and all government business will be conducted in our language.

2. Foreigners will not have the right to vote, no matter how long they are here.

3. Foreigners will never be able to hold political office.

4. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care or any other government assistance programs.

5. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

6. If foreigners come and want to buy land that will be OK, but options will be restricted. They are not allowed to own waterfront property. That property is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.

7. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no "bad-mouthing" our president or his policies. If they do, they will be sent home.

8. If they come to this country illegally, they will be hunted down and sent straight to jail.

Harsh, you say?

The above laws happen to be the immigration laws of Mexico.

When it comes to immigration issues in American, it doesn't seem to matter who you vote for (Rep.or Dem.), both seem to do very little about the problem. We should have immiration laws in America as Mexico does. As the old saying goes, what's good for the goose is good for the gander!
