Why don't people who are for amnesty care about the blue collar workers in America?
It seems, and I have had people in here flat out tell me, that they don't care about them because they don't have a college degree.
So, you only count in the US if you have a college degree??
What is that? Is that anyway to treat a fellow citizen?

Narcissism and self absorption... As long as I am doing well I do not care that the blue collar workers are under attack. Some even have no idea that they are being affected.
We have no community involvement anymore so the rich and the upper middle class have no idea what goes on with the working class.
Some even believe that it is laziness on the part of those who do not get a full education and do not realize that not everyone can afford it or can make it, basically comes back to narcissism.
Yellowbadmunster: Only in our dreams can we compete against China, we could drop wages to minimum wage for all factory workers and those in production and still not compete against China... They have a very low cost of living and production and no laws to prevent abuse of workers, low overhead and a ton of people at their disposal. Is that what you want for the US, a class of people who are basically destitute and working in sweat shops? If we must compete against China we are in deep doo doo.

Most illegal aliens don't have a college degree when they come here either...but their kids are able to be granted in state college Tuition even though they aren't CITIZENS and definitely OUT of state in every way possible!
The elite only want to add to it's bottom line, and the media loves a sob story. It's the average citizens that is lost in the whole debate
I have no idea. However, the new bill would import so many college degrees we all need to be concerned about wages driven down.
The working class always gets the shaft!! It is usually their tax money,their kids being called up for duty,their benefits being cut,ect..The white collar Americans don't really care what happens as long as they are safely locked away in their gated communities away from all of us riff-raff.Before much longer,all of the illegals will be knocking on their doors because the working class will have no more to give!!
It's a global economy. Blue collar workers earn too much, they must be replaced by illegal workers. How can the U.S. compete against countries like China if we don't have cheap labor. Our corporations are what is important. The blue collar worker is expendable.
Typical the world revolves around me crap. My brother had a bunch of illegals tile his floor. When I found out I was so pissed. I asked him why, his answer was because they did it cheaper. Well I asked him if someone was willing to do his job for less would he be OK with that (he is a restaurant manager). Of course he said that was totally different. What a hypocrite.
Can it be because there isn't enough people like yourself (top contributor's without a chip on their shoulders)?
Or the fact that they were not a by product of poverty therefore could never relate to such mental depth's to be a bit caring?!
Great question. They go on and on about helping the illegals because they're "poor and want a better life" yet they bash citizens who are poor,barely feeding their family and can't afford a college education. It makes you realize that maybe there's a bit more behind them supporting the illegals than just wanting to help people in need.
