I'm sorry you feel that people make you feel this way, and I'm glad you realize that hate generates haet. IF you feel mad, I suggest you take a break and go to another section. I tell people I go to the food section when I get mad. You stated that you sometimes say stuff you regret because of the hate message sent to you. THese world would do the same from the opposing side and create a vicious circle.
EDIT: I'll follow Cincy wahine's lead and remove the block too as a gesture of good faith. I only blocked you because there are a group of people who stated that you were frequently violating people. I had no proof, but I didn't want the hassle either. I on the other hand took no other action against you.

yeah after i've said them though. yeah i do feel pretty bad afterwards. im with u about how we are talked about. some people are ignorant girl and like they say ignorance is bliss. We know our culture and we know they are lies so i just go on and let them live in their ignorant world.

People are upset and rightly so over many issues *not just immigration* and these issues bring out emotions..just like you said, you are no exception. You cannot control others but you can control how you decide to deal with things including other people's opinions.

You are right, some people get way to personal here.They are just too emotional.I don't ever approve of disrepecting anyone background based on their race. Who really can say who is better. We are all of the human family.

You had to smart off about it or we wouldn't know anything about your heritage. You can dish it out but you can't take it, your 16 and your planing on adopting, the way you talk you better find someone to adopt you.
i have nothing against you. as long as you can go to sleep at night and know that you are a good person, don't worry about what other ignorant people might say. usually, when a certain percentage of a race do something that is considered wrong, people just assume that all of them must be that way. stay strong!:)
People of all nationalities are racists. Have many friends here that have put it all out there and been painfully honest. Have some asian buddies that cannot stand their parents attitudes. Indian friends that feel marriage outside their race demminishes them in some way. Latins too have there views.
Live and let live. No people are perfect.

I don't know where your coming from but we aren't throwing out non-human life forms or animals or plants.

I hope your call for some respect will be noted and appreciated, but I think you need to consider the reality of computer-mediated interactions. I've been online since 1989 (back when electronic bulletin boards were the rage and there was no web), and I've got to tell you that people are always more rude online than they are in person, even when they are identified by their real names, but especially when their identity is hidden by a user name.
Consider how many people are comfortable with stealing music or books or movies online. Many of these are people who would not reach over the counter and take the money out on an unattended cash register (although some of them probably would!), but the anonimity of the web makes them create all kinds of excuses about why it's okay to be a thief.
Similarly, lots of people who would be nice to you in real life are going to be jerks here simply because online communication tends to drift that way, for all sorts of reasons.
Keep your tender heart, please. It's not good to grow a thick skin. But also be willing to put on a mental asbestos suit when you come here, because the nature of online communication is not going to change.
I am English, living in London England and I have not been in the US since 1999; however, I think that the racist remarks you are subjected to stem from the fact that Americans feel that Spanish speaking people (whether US citizens, Immigrants or illegals) are now so numerous that they (the White Americans) feel under threat just as British people feel under threat from the flood of Eastern Europeans arriving in the UK. Mexico shares a land border with the US and there will always be people who are either unable or unwilling to go through official processes to enter the US and so enter illegally. Unfortunately the number of illegals is increasing and are beginning to have an effect on American life. Just as you as a Mexican cannot tell from first glance whether a white American lives in an opulent town house or a shabby apartment, so the white American cannot tell from first glance whether a Mexican is a citizen, legal immigrant or illegal. As a result of the number of illegals being high, there are some White Americans who will have it in their mind that all Mexicans they encounter are illegal in the same way that a tiny minority of White Americans have the bizarre and offensive notion that ALL Black people are dirty and lazy. It doesn't help much but there are racists in all societies - people who cannot seem to bear the existence of people different from themselves and resent them

Every time someone comes out against illegals, they are immediately called racist!! Yes Americans are sick and tired of hearing illegals demanding amnesty, saying they will not leave; etc, Sure some Americans have said some awful things, but so have the illegals!
I care about my words as much as illegals care about what they are doing to this country. We know illegals only care about themselves.

My problem is with a group of people breaking my country's immigration laws, stealing people's identities (Social Security numbers), driving around with no car insurance, cramming a half a dozen families into small houses, and then having the gall to demand of me that I give them amnesty and citizenship.

I know what you mean. I bet when you first got to this section you didn't right away start insulting people. Their actions bring it out of even the best of us. At least you apoplogized and tried to make the best of it. I don't see anyone else apologizing for their behavior and there were A LOT of people that said WAY worse things than you. I don't really remember you saying things that were that bad anyway.
They do not think about it and why would you care? Name calling is the only thing they have and it reflects on ones intelligence to resort to that. Worry about people that matter like your teachers and your family not people that wouldn't have an intelligent thought if it sprouted legs and jumped up and whacked them upside their heads.
Read some of your comments and you will see it goes both ways... granted there are some racist people out there.. but it is on both sides... and you can't rule out a group of people and not point out the other side
Yes, you have said some pretty bad things about us Americans. I don't dislike all immigrants. Let me clarify. I feel if someone has to sneak in, then they don't want us knowing who they are , they must have something to hide, elsewise, they'd do it right and come here the legal ways. Our country doesn't make it too hard to come here legally. Sneaking in unknown, and unwelcome, is no different than a terror attempt. No, I really dislike all illegals, no matter where they're from. I can only respect the immigrants that come here LEGALLY. I don't agree with amnesty because that's defeating the laws, they're already committed the crime. If 9-11 happened in Mexico and devestated the families there, then Mexican's would have a real big issue with illegals flooding in there as well. If your here legally, I respect you. If your here illegally, then you should go home. One your home and you feel you can respect us and live our lifestyles and obey our laws, please, by all means, apply to come back, LEGALLY next time. Makes us feel much better about you, and you can live without fear of ever being deported. I wouldn't want to live in another country, always havinmg to look over my shoulder wondering when I was going to be yanked up and away...why? It's senseless. A legal immigrant wouldn't want to live here with a bunch of illegals either. First of all, they'd be mad because they did it all legal, and completed the whole process, 2nd of all, they wouldn't want to be in a better country with a bunch of undocumented people committing crimes and nobody knew who they were. Think about it. Would you like it? Of course not. Being proud of who you are is great, but when you try to cram it down everyone's throat, and go bragging like you think your above us here, then you get hate. My advice to you, stop, think about all that I've said, and try to realize how it is for us here, then lose your hate for us. Are all Mexican's alike? No, and neither are us Amercians. If you want respect from an American, then you must display respect for us. Others won't take this time to explain this probably, and I don't mean it offensively, just truthfully. I try to see all sides and I try to have a heart, but when people go putting all of us down as a whole and saying "we stole it from them" and crap like that, then we all get mad. You are tired of Latinos being spoken about as if they where 3/4 human beings ? That is a two way road. Does it bother you equally when people come here illegally and harm legal citizens (of any color)? When legal citizen's lives are being hurt because of illegals, people are going to get upset regardless of skin color.
