How old do you have to be to drive in mexico?
Answer:
Depends if you have an existing license from the States or not.
Be aware of one thing though:
DON'T DRIVE IN MEXICO WITHOUT MEXICAN INSURANCE!
If you don't have it...you go to jail!
And Mexican jails are not a nice place to be.
Mexico is a pretty country but their political system is corrupt beyond your imagination.
Think to yourself of the worst case scenario and that's what can happen to you.
more detailspls where are you?
As long as you can touch the pedals and see over the dashboard.
Does it matter? What matters is that they better not be driving in the United States?
What does this question have to do with immigration? There is no age requirement. I suggest you only drive there if you know the road signs and rules for Mexican roads. There are very confusing. Many small towns don't have stop signs so make sure you check both ways before proceeding.

18, and you have to have a credencial and a liscense. I was told (when my husband when to get his Mexican drivers license) that i could not get one in Mexico without a credencial, and i cannot get a credencial without being a citizen, but that i dont need one, that the Mexican government will accept my US license. So if you get a US license here and are only 16, you can legallly drive there. Keep extra money handy, cops are notorious for asking for tips expecially if u are white or appear to have money.
