Question about Mexico and Immigration?
Perhaps what is needed most is not a new "guest worker" program that sends the problems resulting from political malfeasance to this country { the U.S. } but instead we could send " guest leaders " to Mexico to correct the problems .
Anyone agree ?

Well no our leaders are not any better. Really they need to start taking care of there own people in their own country, because our country can not support large numbers of unskilled workers. We have no give away jobs. Every job is precious little at this point. Both our countries need good leaders instead we get leaches because we have to choose from moron A to evil man B. What a choice.

mexico is beautiful and its people are wonderful. but its politicians are corrupt.
Yes, about 2% of the mexican population controls all the money and politics. Mexico has oil, a fishing industry, agriculture, a beautiful place to visit so a lot of tourist money comes in, it should be at best an alright place to live in, not the poverty stricken place it is now. America should try to fix their government instead of allowing freeloaders who abuse the system in the USA.

All we need to do to help those people is send allot of them to drug rehab and the Mexican Government will become broke thereby losing all of their power.
Once they've lost power due to lack of business we throw them out and replace them with a real Government who will do for Mexico what should have been done all along.
Which is represent it's people and take care of them.
Let them fix their own god damn problems. Why does America feel that they need to be the f'in hero? Hello, we have bigger f'in issues, in our country, than immigration. America flourished due to immigration. That's the least f'ing thing I'm worried about at the moment.
We can only help those after we have helped ourselves. The U.S. is not an empire. Where is everyone to our aide when we need help?
some mexicans are descendants of the spanish. almost as smart as you and me. we could work with them. most however and very dumb descentants of wild indians. they are not particulary bright. you can not educate or employ them beyond crop picking and housework and basic construction. mexico is hopeless, it's as if the blacks controlled america. it's more about science and evolution than it is about politics.
it would be a better situation if we sent people with some knowledge and pull, to Mexico to help clean up the government and its corruption.
The economic problems in Mexico are historical - they stem from the Spanish and French occupations. There is a very small percentage of families that own everything, and they don't want a middle class to emerge and refuse to create the economic conditions that would bring it about, so almost everyone else is dirt poor.
The US is exacerbating the problem, because Mexico is using its illegal immigrants as large source of repatriated income as it is. Their would-be middle class workers are coming to the US, which is a just another way for them to postpone an inevitable revolution.
They government in mexico teaches their citizens how to sneak across the border, to survive while getting to US and what to do after they get here. A guest leader from US would not make it two hours in Mexico, they would disappear to never be seen again. The reason Mexico is like this is because this is how they like to live, now they want to come to US and turn US into Mexico, the country they love the best.
I do happen to agree. I think we produce better leaders here that could benefit them there in getting/helping them back on their feet to a better economy for Mexico, as well as a better more well rounded government.
Maybe we should do the same for Detroit... There are many people without work trying to support their families. Funny thing is a lot of the jobs in Detroit ARE going to Mexico... Looks like they are working on their problems...
Sending guest leaders to Mexico won't solve the problem; they will further bankrupt it as they did for America (trillions of dollars worth of bonds are in foreign hands).
yes, our we could just let these countries keep their best and brightest by not usurping them to supplement our professional class...
Mexico is a country rich in natural resources. problem is that for too many years that they haven't had true freedom. the government has owned most major industries which has limited investment. What Mexico needs is true freedom, investment and more education.
I think we should stay out of their business. All this talk about fixing Mexico, taking care of their citizens, sending people to help them is dumb. Besides, they wouldn't listen so it would be a waste.
We have our own problems. Shouldn't we worry about America first!
