you are right, it is sad...how they have learned to take advantage of our good nature. the goverment has put us in this position, to dole out our hard earned money (by taxes) to care for them and yet we let our own natural born go without. whatever you call the hispanics, you cannot call them stupid. They know exactly what they are doing, and they increase by mega-numbers everyday.
Like any good American, they are here because it benefits them... not their posterity or their neighbor. Just look at how the American way is destroying our planet. Its not the American way... its the inherently selfish way of all human beings. One looks out for themselves first, then their familiars. We all have the mentality that reducing the overall positive, average, at the cost of raising my own position in life, is well worth it. America is rich both because of human selfishness, and good fortunes. Now, our neighbors want a little of the action, too, because they are equally human, equally selfish... equally Americanized.
Dont get me wrong though... America as a whole does a lot for the world, more-so than most other countries... and mostly done by the churches, as a matter of fact. But the truth is we can do way way more.
Thats not to say I agree with illegal immigration... because I dont. I know full well that it will eventually hurt all of America and all of the world. But even in the meantime, the mere prospect that anyone could use another person and get away with it without question is appalling. We are using each other and the world, too, as Americans. But I do believe in having some honor. As long as they go through the right legal passages then I dont have a problem with immigration. But if they try to put a guilt trip on us then they are manipulative, too. I dont believe in stopping immigration (legal) entirely, because America was founded by immigrants. But I do believe in regulation and law.
Wait until they get the "Path To citizenship". Greedy Corporations are going to be in for a Surprise as they start Demanding Better Wages, benefits, Cost of Living Increase every 6 months, Employment laws that benefit the worker and not the Corporations? ...Then who will the Greedy Corporate pukes call in as scabs? Serves them right, The Corporations Stabbed Americans in the back Outsourced jobs, lowered wages and denied them Workmen's Compensation and a living wage!
illegals from 20-30 years ago are very very different from the ones now-a-days. reasons for that is 20-30 years ago they didnt want to make themselves noticed. they just wanted to blend in with everyone else, and just do thier work and support thier family. where as illegals now-a-days are trying to demand rights and get what an american citizen has.
they may say they are protesting peacefully and that its freedom of speech, but i'm pretty sure you have to be a u.s citizen to have those rights in the first place.
when they protest they are disrupting major city streets and freeways.
i had to do a project for class ( i am in college for criminal justice) it was about mayday. and i asked my mothers opinion about what she thought about what the LAPD did and if it was alright and she saidthe illegal immigrants have no right to do that and that she thought they were pretty stupid for protesting in thr first place. and she didnt think that the LAPD was in the wrong.
