Is this what's always going to happen when Americans defend their country and risk their lives for us?
Now the family in Mexico and the Mexican government want "justice".
Answer:
America needs to update our "rules of engagement" along the border to keep up with the trend in violence being perpetrated by the criminals who our border patrol agents face on a daily basis.
This splitting of hairs concerning "justice" is just intolerable.
Who do they think our border patrol agents are; Barney Fife?
the guard was protecting are borders. bush needs to tell the mexican govt to go to helll. i feel for the family, but they should not of encouraged him to come here illegally. mexico is getting away with to much shhit.
whenever our government officials shoot unarmed men and women when they are only allowed to aprehend them, then yes. We must ALWAYS make an example of crooked cops and officials that do not follow our laws. Anything else leads to corruption.
No it isn't. They probably want justice because the border agent probably wasn't 'doing his job' properly. Did the slain illegal have any weapons on him that he threatened to use if the agent came any closer towards him? The only way you're supposed to shoot at someone if they try to struggle with an agent is if they've got a gun brandished in their hand, ready for shooting. After that, the agent is supposed to follow the procedures after the shooting occurs. If Rivera really was a threat to the agent (a legitimate threat, not because he was an illegal immigrant from Mexico), he should've fired at him. This whole situation makes me suspicious, especially since you don't shoot at an illegal immigrant if he struggled with the agent. The agent is supposed to subdue him before shooting, so chances are that the agent didn't follow protocol.
justice is what anyone would ask for if they had a family member killed. wich is what that person was.As for the whole "struggle" that supposedly happened that's debatable afterall who can they ask.the person is already dead. But to answer ur quiestion I hope that this won't happen again because a death is still a death and you glorifying the killer and making it seem like he did something good is just as bad. And the reason they keep coming is the same reason that many immigrants have done so for years. They want a chance at a better life for themselves and their children. And though they know it is illegal to do that their desperation surpasses the knowledge of that. And till the government chooses to fix this one way or another it will continue to happen like it has for many years.
Bring it on
No matter if he was here illegal or not,to shoot an unarmed person is wrong, plain and simple.I would expect mexico to be mad,if a us citizen was shot in mexico or any where else in the world,we would ask for change or justice.murder is murder.
