I have been selected for the DV LOTTERY diversity immigrant visa 2008, one of the requirement is to show proof

of sponsorship to the entry clearing officer at the time of my interview at the embassy, Anyone out there who knows which documents my sponsor should present?, If one of it is their bank details then how much should their bank account reflect? and lastly, what benefits do i get from winning this lottery? Thank you in advance for your help.

Answer:
Ensure first it is not related to scam. Take care.
your not gonna get an answer here, the people on Y!A immigration are only here to ***** and whine about illegals...and any other immigrants.

80% of them are racist and republican.

i however am canadian and do not know the answer to your question.
At the time of your immigrant visa interview, you must provide the consular officer with proof your required level of education or professional proficiency and a financial sponsorship by someone already in the US. The form is I-134, and it must show that the sponsor can support his or her entire family plus you at a minimum of 125% of the official US poverty level (google for the latest figures).

There are often rumors that DV winners are given jobs, allowances, homes, etc. Those are not true. All that you get is immigrant visas for yourself and your spouse and children, and our best wishes for a successful life.

I love the DV Lottery.
