why are all of you "kick 'em out and build a wall" types so eager about Mexicans that you completely overlook Europeans and Canadians who stay here illegally?
The immigration policy of this country is racist. Lets just be honest about that. European and Canadian visa approval rates are at 99%, the rest of the world -save for the middle east and India, are at about 10%. How many terrorists have been stopped at the US-MEX border vs the US-CAN border?
And there are white Canadians here illegally, just no one cares about them. They are white. Do you have another reason?

It's not as easy as you think to cross the border anymore. I have a status card from Canada being as I am Mohawk, and can legally cross the border freely. It used to be all I had to do was show my Status Card... not anymore!
And where there used to open crossings (like in the middle of a town that straddles both Canada and the US) there are now Immigration offices where you have to check in. You used to be able to walk across the Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls freely, not anymore.

Are you aware that they have now put heat seeking "drones" in the air? Have you been anywhere on the St. Lawrence ( Lake Erie and Ontario too for that matter) lately? Boating on these waters will now get you stopped QUICK by both the US Coast Guard AND the OPP or QPP ( Ontario/ Quebec Provincial Police). The FBI and ATF and DEA are crawling all over the Rez that straddles NY, Quebec and Ontario ( St Regis in NY ... Akwesasne in our language)

I guess we don't know. One reason is our language and culture are as similar as regional cultures stateside, so they don't stick out crowding our prisons, driving our wages down, expanding our ghettos and demanding bi-lingualism.
As long as our northern border is regulated for screening moslems, I could care less if normal Canadians come down.

My feeling is that there is a policy in place for immigration.

Hahaha... there are lots of illegal aliens from Canada, the only country with more illegal aliens in the US is Mexico (and I think it's safe to say that Mexico's numbers are boosted by Latin Americans from South and Central America so in reality Canada could have the most illegal aliens). Honestly both our north and south borders should be shutdown, fenced up and made inpenetrable. Our borders are a liability. Honestly, terrorists from just about anywhere in the world can come into Canada, Mexico or anywhere in South or Central America and wander in unoticed. It's a freaking joke.
i live in n.h. right near the canadian border. people get stopped trying to cross here all the time. race gender and color make no difference. most of the time they get the illegals but if one did slip through would they tell us? i love the wall idea, i have had that thought for years, not only would it prevent illegal crossing but it would create thousands of jobs as well as prevent erosion. long live america !
One reason is because the illegal aliens from Canada do not march in the streets. They try and blend in. If the Mexican illegals would do that they probably would not be noticed. Plus you never hear of Canadians proclaiming they want to "take over" our country.
BTW: One of the posts above stated some of the southern states were stolen from Mexicans. Learn your history! These states were NOT stolen. In simple terms. Mexico declared war on the U.S. Mexico lost that war and gave up that land in a peace treaty. They were also compensated monetarily for these lands which as the victors in the war we did not have to do.

Mexicans are very distinguishable.
The same arguments are true for a certain immigrant groups in America. (The land of the Native Americans).
If your Irish, British, Scottish, Australian, Canadian, Smart Asian ...etc.
It's OK to be illegal.
But Mexicans, WOW that's so bad, those illegal Mexican they come to steal all the Hi-Tech and Executive jobs and leaving poor Americans no choice but to work for McDonald and WalMart.
