All the give away programs that go with socialism and high taxes. Free Medical,retirement, tons of vacation. its all great until you figure out someone has to pay for all that.
One of the most interesting things in recent years was the protest by workers because a new law was going to make it OK to fire a worker who is doing a poor job. I guess in the past they couldn't be fired!

You may run a business in France or buy some real estate in France paying lower APR, then give it to renters and make some nice profit in Euroes rather than Dollars. As US citizen with no French citizenship your opportunities are limited in France...
Other thing: you may ran for a Governor in France... like Arnold did in US.
