I have applied for immigration in Canada.... hired the best lawyer gave him honest papers ..but nothing done?

its been 7 months and the lawyer has not even applied the papers in the office ,he says that he is very busy and does not meet me or picks up my calls ,its very problematic for me plz help me what should be my next action

Answer:
You might have signed some sort of contract, (even if hes a lawyer, you can read through it first, and check for any rip-offs)refer back to that, check if he is in breach. If he is, sue his ***!

He wont practice law again quickly...
Report him ..I'll bet that he didn't waste any time cashing your check.
Read the contract you should have signed. If he has done nothing for seven months that is too long. He hasn't even forwarded the papers to Immigration? That is serious. Make sure you can get any originals out of him and appoint another attorney.

Whether you sue him or report him to his professional body is for you to decide. However, you are going to have a lot of work ahead of you in immigrating, even with an attorney. You might find your energies are better directed towards that.

Good luck with this.
