Why dont we deport illegals once arrested?

Easy question...Why deport the criminals when 6 hours later they are right back on American streets...make them do their time, then deport them...
We should deport them right away! I consider them deadwood!
If they commit a crime against children or a sexual crime, I wouldn't want to let them go to any other country before serving their time. Women and children have it hard enough without having to dodge these monsters in any part of the world. And murderers should face the death penalty since they will kill again. Dump the rest of them in their own countries laps and they can deal with their treachery, which should have been done initially. We had an arrest and release policy for some reason, you'll have to call George W, for that answer. They should be deproted as soon as they are discovered. ID theft is a serious crime!
I know some county jails do deport them. My Dad is a Sergeant for one county and they have a special holding cell for when after they are to be released, they get picked up.
I don't know what prisons do though.
Because many of them are very dangerous and if deported would be back over the border committing crimes in no time flat. I am glad they are in prison where we at least know where they are.
Prison,then deport.We should also send the bill to their country of origin.
