we can increase immigration AND respect our own laws. illegals can remain illegal since they have no basis to expect citizenship.

I agree. If we would really crack down on those who hire illegals & make legal immigration easier we would go a LONG way towards solving our problem. I don't want guest workers, I want people who want to move here to build better lives for themselves & help build the USA.
before try a new immigration bill
we should fire all politicans
and find in some way new people
to put in the congress only after that
we can go back and talk about the new immigration bill
and everything else
my best suggestion is do not give the job
to the lawyers lets have a real people in the congress
farmers,workers etc etc etc

Adding tens of millions of people to the country is a huge part of the problem.
We already are in the fastest growing period in history of this country. Our population went up by over 32 million legal people from 1990-2000. We are currently over 300 million.
If we keep growing this fast several things are inevitable:
Gasoline costs will skyrocket - you haven't seen anything yet.
Home heating costs will skyrocket.
Fresh water sources will shrink.
Taxes will skyrocket.
Medical costs will skyrocket.
These things and many more are affected by supply/demand and there is nothing we can do to increase supply to keep pace with our surging population. Taxes will go way up because we cannot add millions of uneducated, low-income people who pay little to no taxes without raising taxes on someone. They have LOTS of kids and kids cost over $10,000 per kid per year for their education - in some schools its over $20,000.
The overwhelming voting public believes that immigration should be less, not more. And when told of the way our population is growing the polls show even more support for LESS immigration.
too many illegal mexicans in this country, sooner or later, everyone has to speak spanish
seal the borders and then have 2 million illegal across the
country to register for citizenship. then have a lottery and
pick a million the first year. do this for 5 years. rolling over the million from the first year. you always have 2 million in the lottery ever year. any after 5 years gets caught will be charge
with afelony and sent back or go to jail. no benifits.
also buisness who hires illegals get fines 2nd time jail time.
