I am British, been living in Iran 12 months now with my Iranian husband. Do you think I should stay or go back

Summers are hot here, People are Friendly here, We live with my father-in-law. Contrary to popular belief, ordinary people are British-Friendly here. There's a lady by the name of Sandra who works in the British Embassy, she's been 35 years.
I thank God for having been able to see two countries.

Answer:
What will going back do to your marriage? Are you happy with your husband? Are you happy with your situation and the place where you live? These are all questions only you can answer and you should just think it through. As a chrisian, a marriage to me is something that God put together and it's not something we are allowed to break. I don't know what you believe but I wish you luck.
Well, that's your decision. If you like it there, stay there. If you start to get home sick, go back.
vacation in london
If your husband is an Iranian and you like the environment and people are friendly why should you leave ? Iranians are more civilized than other Muslims in middle east and have a history behind them. So be there, happily.
No one can tell you what to do. However, if it was me, I'd leave. Looks more and more like the Iranian Government is getting itself in big trouble with the rest of the world. Only the tip of wrong-doing has been exposed, but if it escalates, things might get bad for foreigners. Good luck.
Stay if you like it. Leave if you don't. Doesn't take a rocket scientist. What's the hidden agenda in this question and why is it in the USA section?
I'm glad you saw the better side of things. You hear a lot of nasty stories about Iran.

To be honest if you married an Iranian then you're Iranian yourself. Since you are in Iran I am not too sure if you have complete say if you yourself want to go back to Britian (your husband may be able to overide you). Iranian law is a bit complex and hard to find information about.

Write a list of reasons on why you want to say and another with the reasons why you don't. Compare the two and talk to your husband.
Ever read the book "Not Without My Daughter"? The book, not the movie (the movie was Mickey Mouse compared to the book).

If you have, how does it compare to what you see there? Honestly, I'd really like to know. I've had friends from that region, but always cut it off if they started to get serious. It would be nice to get an opinion from someone presently there, about the potential truth of fiction of the book.

My instinct is to say run! Get out of there while you can!! But... perhaps... that instinct is wrong.? Feel free to e-mail me with any corrections in my assumptions!
Do you really think the Brits want you back?
Stay if you like it. My husband is a naturalized US citizen from Hungary (I am American) we live half the year in Hungary and I love the change. It is a western country I know but the language and customs are different. I work with many Iranian people in Las Vegas in the beauty and casino business, they are alotof fun, contrary to what most westerners believe. Good luck, life should be an adventure.
go back- The US/UK is in the grip of pure evil- war is imminent!
