Question about the Catholic Church?

Senator Edward M. Kennedy a devoted Catholic was in LA with the Catholic bishop speaking of immigration reform . My question is does this create a conflict of interest ?

Answer:
I think this is a big conflict of interest. The Catholic Church encourages illegal immigration. They are in big trouble right now with the molestation allegations and lawsuits. They need the illegals who are predominately Catholic to keep the Catholic church afloat here in America.
yes i agree.... politicians should never step inside a place of worship or speak with clergy!!!!!!

man.... what a silly question...... just state what you mean!!!!
No, because he is not much of a believer in GOD, because if he was, his voting record would be different.
Not a conflict of interest at all. Is it a conflict of interest when Tancredo speaks to anti-immigration groups? Senators are allowed to have a religiousl affiliation.
Yes, for Kennedy and the liberals, its about votes. For the church, its numbers and $$$$$$$$$$$$.
Ted Kennedy a "devoted Catholic"??? PLEASE, you mean the champion of abortion, the murderer (Mary Jo Capetnic -?- ), the father of all that is immoral and wrong with this country a "DEVOTE Catholic"?

I'm a Catholic and can see that their view on aiding and abetting these invaders is nothing more than to fill pews.
Most definitely a conflict of interest!
There is nothing in the Constitution that states an elected official must "forget" about God while (s)he holds office. One does not have to be Catholic in order to side with the Catholic Church.

It must be noted that Senator Kennedy supports abortion rights despite the Catholic Church sees it as a morally absolute no no. I question your opinion as to just how devout you believe Senator Kennedy to be.
