If we are going to go through the expense to revamp the entire system for these people, why don't we just declare war on them and get rid of them.

They broke the law, I see no reason to help them.

Sorry, hate it. They don't belong here in the first place. Why do we have to turn our world upside down for people who don't even belong here?
1. They are already making more than minimum wage.
2. There is no agency in our government competent enough to do background checks or even ENFORCE LAWS already on the books.
3. If they become citizens the greedy employers will still 'need' cheap labor so more illegals will keep on coming.
It will take a revolution...
If they don't follow the current laws, what makes you think if you change them they will follow them then?
Come here legally or get out. That is my immigration plan. Pure, simple, and to the point.
i say give them a 30 day notice to go back to there country. And if they don't listen the first time give them another week to leave. If they still are here after telling them 2 times then have troops go door to door shooting all illegals.
About everyone would say thats too drastic, but just giving them a small fine isn't going to make them go back and stop more from just coming. You have to show that you really mean business.

I think it's ok. But it shouldn't only be for Mexicans illegals.
I'm tired of seeing the system go downhill too but we can't reward illegals for breaking the law. I don't think illegals will ever pay for "heavy" taxes or for health care. They have ACLU and other illegal-loving organizations to protect them. We will not see a dime from them. Trust me. However, we need to start to enforce our current laws now. That's our problem. New laws or policies won't change anything until enforcement occurs.
They come here to work AND get welfare. Raising minimum wage to what you deem "Livable" is not what others might think. That would require senate and congress vote and the only thing they know how to vote on and PASS~ is their raises.
You cannot force illegals to pay for a health plan when half of all American citizens have none. You are trying to budget Illegals money for them. You can't tell people what food to buy either. I'm tired of seeing welfare go to buy cigarettes which will insure those turds end up on oxygen and need Doctors all the time. But this is America the home of the brave and land of the freebies.Don't expect your American Title to ever become law.
Besides, after 5 years they STILL won't speak English.
