Americans are just plain stupid. So many undocumented workers pay income tax and all other taxes, help the economy, and create a diverse culture, while maintaining the unemployment rate at 4.5%(lowest in history), and their only argument is illegal = illegal. Pathetic.
Actually you are wrong and we pay all kinds of costs for their children, the biggest being education at the expense of our own children's education.
However, they do it for cheap labor because American workers cost more on an international standard. Which is why you want to come here, to begin with.
Why didn't the illegals just go to an area of their own country with more employment and get a job? Mexicos unemployment rate is only 1 % higher than ours. The pay is lower, ok, but so is the cost of living. They think it is a free ride here as long as you work, but they should really think about what they are doing. I would work hard too if I did not have to report my income to the government and pay half of it to the government. Don't tell me they pay taxes because if they did, they would have to be documented workers or citizens.
The issue is to identify 12 million of potential enemies attacking us already inside the country.

You are so totally wrong. My sister works for section 8 and HUD and to quite frank illegal immigrants even get free housing for a cheaper rate because I work and don't have children. Yet, they bring in all their kids and only pay about 85.00 a month United States Dollars and If I were to get it I would have to pay 300.00 dollars a month as to their 85.00?
To me that is not right seeing they broke the law to begin with and I did not. And, they have not contributed enough taxes if not any at all and I have. That is not acceptable to me.
Undocumented immigrants DO NOT get welfare or those BENEFITS people talk about. They act like their check has a special deduction for undocumented immigrants. How stupid. I pay taxes and I have yet to see this deduction. I have met undocumented immigrants, and all they do is WORK and put funds into the S.S. system and medicare, which MORE THAN COMPENSATES for whatever "Benefits" they are collecting.

Do you know about the hospitals that have closed because they couldn't afford to stay in business due to no payment? Did you see them flying mexican flags and fllying ours upside down? Do you have any national pride and hopes for the future? If you do then it's time to really research what illegals are doing to our country. If you are illegal too, then I think your conscience should be telling you how wrong this all is. Well I have a view and it is a real view as I work w/ and actually help them fill out the paper work that gets them paid!! I work for a construction company in Colorado that employs around 300 people and 75% are not legal-so this is actually fact for all the people that have answered and make themselves look stupid while doing it!! I have 9 guys on my crew and sometimes as many as 25 and they all have the same thought --if they don't have to pay as much on taxes as me then they don't. Don't fool yourself- they are hard workers as are some of my other guys ,but some are lazy too-just doing what they have to.My no.1 guy is from zacatecis, Mexico--and he is 22 yrs old and claims 7 children --he actually has 0--that's right 0 children and he does not file and he does not care and you know what the other guys that are not legal do the same thing ---so I say to you and the other people that have foolishly bought into the bullshit that has been put out there--get enlightened before you speak. My wife is Hispanic and agrees that there should be a overhaul of the current system and does not think that amnesty is the answer--it didn't work in 1992 and it won't work now! Nobody has earned special rights and nobody should receive them if you break the law then you should not be rewarded!
I live in Dallas Texas.and here are a few FACTS about what benefits America gives illegal aliens.
Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas is the nation's second busiest maternity ward. Almost 50 babies are born there every day, 365 days a year. (Can you multiply 365*50?..those over 18000 babies each year).
70% of those babies are born to illegal immigrants. Parkland spent of $70 million in 2004 (geez, what must it be now in 2007?) paying for those kids. $70 million dollars three years ago...medical inflation has been runing 10% (conservatively) so in 2007 that should be up to an estimated $93 million!!!!
Let me rephrase that: the american TAXPAYER is spending $93 million.in Dallas Texas alone.
