Liberal or conservative politics don't really say anything about their ability to follow or respect for the law. There are liberal and conservative politicians who have broken the law and not wanted to receive punishment.

I don't feel guilty about any of the poor people. There are enough self/help groups out there for them to get some help and try to make a better life for them. It would be nice if the funds for these groups were only given to US citizens. If the non citizens want help they can go back home and try and get it from their government. I DO NOT OWE THEM(non citizens) A DAMN THING.
Conservatives generally believe in self-responsibility. You drop out of school, you expect to work at BK all your life.
You commit a crime...you pay for it. NEVER feel guilty because
you have more than the next person. You can do a lot of GOOD without spending a dime. If they think you should buy their friendship...YOU are wasting your time...not to mention your dime. Some of my best friends thought I was a "tightwad" but understood I just was an only child who didn't know to offer to buy a soda for a friend occasionally when the friend was broke.
I had to learn social graces the hard way. And YES...some people took advantage of me and borrowed not intending to repay. I even "pawn shopped" cautiously.
