Ignorance would take away from a child's identity. Most people are mixed in one way or another. I don't understand what you meant by mixed race persons taking away from society. Wouldn't that thought of ignorance alone be what's really taking away from it?
A persons identity shouldn't be associated with their color. A person's heritage is what should be celebrated. Mixed children are lucky in the sense that they have two cultures that they can call their own. They can identify with BOTH groups. There are no "pure" breeds. When a person comes to America and goes to a cafe - I'm certain they'll run into a number of different races - but all of them are still American.
Mixed race marriages are actually not taking away a child's identity,they are creating a new identity for their kids.In the future,our world will have no more communication problems.This is because present kids get to learn more than one type of language from their parents.Which make them know so much more than us.These kids can either speak english,japanese,korean,chines... and maybe german.So,its actually a positive act.At the same time,it also unites the people.Which then means less war!
I think what you say is somehow very racist, I don't believe is your purpose, but it sounds like, just think that all of the existing races are thanks to the mixing and remixing of different cultures... and no, kids would not lose their identity they would just have a new one a different one.
We are all people no matter what race or gender we are. Everyone has an identity, we are ourselves or we are who we are. Example: I am Stephanie i like to run track and my favorite food is pizza and i love my parents...idk. I don't see any problem with mixing races. I am half black and half white, and although it's hard sometimes because you have to fit into both cultures, I'm sorda sick of these ignorant, "let's not mix races for the sake of the child's emotions" people. Identity is what you make of it. First Mexicans are mix race, yet they have their own culture and identity. I often joke about Americans, but when people are made of mix nationalities, I call them American. Culture and heritage come more from the place you live in. According to the UN you must respect the country you are in. If you move to a country, you should follow their culture and customs. Culture is basically rule made by a community to get along with each other. No culture is better, so what ever the kid picks up its find and become who he is.
People tend to use race as an identity because they don't have any other better self-qualifying and quantifying talents to associate with! :-)
So many things wrong with this, but to start off, no I don't think mixing races leaves a child without an identity.
Custom and culture are not necessarily determined by race, they are determined by society (aka what person that country lives in.)
Races are already greatly mixed, but rather than taking away from society I believe it adds to it and builds tolerance.
If you walk into a shop and are welcomed by a person who "cannot speak the language" they are either a foreigner or did not grow up in the same country as their ancestors (your question is written rather poorly so it is difficult to understand what you are trying to say). Either way, it has nothing to do with racial "purity."

Any child who is a product of two different races, is going to have the chance to experience 2 different and unique cultures.... and their heritage is something that should be celebrated. Mixed children are blessed in a way, because they have two or more cultures that they can learn from. ........ and hopefully, they will grow up to be far more racially tolerant than you seem to be.

This is what America is for. The melting pot of all races and once you are here and mix in, you are adding more and more culture to the USA culture.
Besides when we mix races we spawn new races of mixed races and a whole new identity and still support our old identities. And we dont have as many health problems. We are stronger, live longer and we mixed races just look damn good. Yes baby!!!

that is no ones business if people want to mix. i have meet children black and white who are very intelligent. my niece is white and black, straight A student. only 13 and smarter then most of the kids in her class. leave the race alone. this has nothing to do with illegals.

You and people that think like you are whats wrong with the world today. There are too many people out there judging each other for what ever race they are or aren't. Its not the children, its their parents. Parents have a way of instilling in a child the ignorance of racism. Kids are just kids and that's all they want to be until parents tell them who they shouldn't talk to or hang out with. My son is mixed and there has been an incident where a parent would not let her son play with my child. It is very ignorant especially since they are just kids. As for their identity and you saying they have no race, any child black, white, mexican, mixed whatever are lucking to have two different backgrounds it teaches them tolerance of others who may not look like them instead of hatefulness to another race. Either way any child whether they are mixed or not is lucky to have two parents to take care of them.

A close friend in 2d-3rd grade was half black and half of Mexican descent. We were in and out of eachothers houses a few time a week during those two years. When I met up with her years later she was stunningly beautiful, married to a white Englishman and working as a model.
I never noticed that she had a problem with identity, and her mom was her mom and her dad was her dad.
Now on another front, as a white of European descent I would be sad if my race were entirely wiped out from whatever cause, sort of like I am sad to see fewer and fewer of our towns look like Mayberry with crime rates so low Opie could walk to the lake with his fishing pole unaccompanied by an adult. However, I wouldn't want to impose on people's rights of choice in marraige. I just hope that over all it works out that we have a niche too.
I do think losing any culture, and certainly losing any race, is a true loss. I mean, look at the trouble we go to to save the California knat catcher. Surely a human race is as important?

Why stop anyone from doing what they want to do when it comes to marriage and love(and vice versa)? NO they aren't taking away a child's identity at all, I'm all for interracial marriages anyhow and it was only in the pre-civil rights era all the way through to the '80s that interracial marriages were banned in several states, primarily in the south. Interracial marriages aren't wrong at all, the only thing that matters is the love the couple has for one another and not their skin color.
