2partQ: Why have US immigration laws beenpoorly enforced:Who besides the immigrants gains fm weak enforcement?
Answer:
Poor enforcement of immigration laws is the fault of our "illustrious leaders". The big corporations and farmers want these illegal persons here to do their work so they don't have to pay livable wages. They prefer to let the American Citizen/taxpayer subsidize these poorly paid people with public assistance such as food stamps, medical care, etc. I as a Natural born citizen with grandparents from Italy and South America resent having to pay taxes to these illegals. My grandparents (Mom's parents & Dads parents) came here legally and it took years of waiting for their turn. It is a slap in the face of them and others like them to allow persons here illegally to stay. I don't care what country them are from.
I don't believe the President, senators, congressmen and other officials want to enforce these laws because they get money from the corporations to turn their heads on the problem.
They are all "fat cats" and don't need to sweat the money issue. We as the taxpayer struggling to make it from one day to the next are paying through the nose for their refusal to really do what needs to be done to stop the flow of illegals to this country.
because certain groups profit from cheap labor.
1. Because the upper class need cheap labor to keep their businesses going with minimal overhead.
2. The upper class continue to reap in the profits from cheap labor with minimal overhead.
Our Congress knows this, why don't you think any solid reforms have been pushed through. Unfortunately the majority of Americans cannot grasp the concept of cheap labor. They look at illegals simply as parasites.
Our leaders have sold out to Corporations from all over the world. They benefit from mass confusion. When people are distracted with things like immigr atation, war, ect. they don't see what is happening right in front of them. The whole world is turning into one power. When that is complete, the US won't be much better to live in than some 3rd world country. It is very scary!
a) Upper class and businesses benefit from externalizing the costs. Aka pay cheaper labour costs but the immigrants cost more for taxpayers via free education, medicine, more crime etc.
b) Upper class get to play morally superior because they dont have to deal with the costs of lots of low IQ crime prone illegals in their neighbourhoods.
Well guess who profits from poor enforcement of illegal immigration. That's correct, you got it , Bush/Cheney and the current administration. Illegals come here to work, and work they do. Paying taxes they also do, most of them anyway. Trouble for them is that they use phony I.D.'s and they don't bother picking up their withholding. It's no problem for them, because they are making more money here than they have ever made in their homeland so they blow it off. The current administration gets to keep it. Can you imagine what the withholding is for 10 million illegals. I know for a fact, that it's so much money that the government puts it in their current budget, not that they stick to a budget, but they totally count on it as free cash for their wars! It also provides their rich employers with cheap labor, and little red tape, their by keeping their neocon buddies voting and funding their terms in office. Why do we allow it? Because we have become indifferent to what our government does. We have become indifferent because over the last 7-8 years American towns and cities have been sprayed with Chemtrails. Chemtrails contain Barium and Alluminium and many other chemicals that weaken peoples will. After awhile we become mesmerized, we can't think right , and we don't give a darn about anything. It happens over years , ever look up in the sky? It's time . Chemtrails is a government term, and the House and the Senate have allowed these Bills to pass, because most are on the take, or they think it is best for the status quo. It is not, and they are also slowly killing Americans! Ron Paul is the only hope for the future of this country, I hope that you will vote for him in 2008.
You need to explain what you mean by "poorly enforced" since US consular officer refuse many, many visa applications and CBP either interdicts or deports very large number of illegal entrants or residents. The problem you see is mostly attributable to porous borders (which require more than written laws to plug them) and the overwhelming numbers of people who want to stay in the US. Here are some sites for interesting statistics on the numbers who DON'T get to go to or stay in the US:
