My gf is from another country and we r getting married what do we need to get her green card and stuff?

Answer:
If your girlfriend entered the US legally, that is was inspected/granted entry, she can apply to adjust her status after marriage to you (a US citizen) Be warned though, if there was immigrant intent on entry, then she may face a ban if that is uncovered by USCIS. You can read more on applying for adjustment of status with a concurrent filing of the I-130 petition at http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/fo...
Apparently there is no need for a green card in the US cause we won't do anything about it anyways. Just live under the liberal sanctuary laws
it depends on whether she is in the country yet or not, if she needs visa to enter etc. to get a green card, you will need to file the application for permanent residency, the instructions contain a list of documents you need to file. mostly your girlfriend will need to supply those. You can find this on the us cis website, and as a matter of fact, that is the only resource you should use. they have a help line there, so you can call them and ask about your specific situation, warning: waiting time on the line maybe be measured in hours sometimes. But the site has a FAQ section, so you can browse to find what it is you need. So, just go to www.uscis.gov and get the forms and then you can start the paperwork... lengthy process, so good luck!
A marriage visa.
normally theyll give u 3months to get married, once she comes to the U.S., and theyll do a background check on you, whether or not u have the financial status to support her..
If she is legal, file a I-485 form afyer you get married.
You at the INS site http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis...
and click immigration forms.
If you want your girlfriend to be able to live and work in the US legally, you MUST go through the proper immigration process. I myself am a permanent resident through marriage and we went through a lengthy and costly process to obtain my green card. There are a lot of factors that you must be aware of when going through the immigration process. I would highly reccomend taking a trip to your nearest US immigration office and talking with an immigration officer. There are a lot of things you will need to do (that they may not tell you about, such as writing a seperate check for each form) and you don't want to make any mistakes or the process with be more drawn out and your paperwork will sit on someone's desk for 6 months.
There are a lot of forms, but basically, you have to show proof of ability to support her financially, they will do background checks on both of you, and she will get finger printed and pretty much get a nice mug shot like a criminal.
Anyway, seriously, you need to be well informed and do a lot of research and be able to go the extra mile to be able to be successful. The difficulty of obtaining a visa and the time involved may depend somewhat on the country of origin and what kind of visa (of lack of visa) she used to enter the country.
is she legally or illegaly in the USA.
If she is legal she can change her status, no problem. If she is illegal umm she will have to go back to her country.
If she's legally in the US, you'll need to file for adjustment of status after you're married. That means filing the set of forms for a green card application-I130, I-485, I-765, along with the biographical information and financial information. The forms are available at the USCIS website.

However, if she came on a tourist visa, getting married is often not advised. If USCIS believes that she came to the US on a tourist visa with the intent to immigrate and get married, she may be deported and face an entry ban.
Before you get married you need to file form I-129F. this form is used to petition to bring your fiancé(e) and that person's children to the United States for marriage to you or to bring your spouse and that person's children (K-3 and K-4 visas, respectively) to the United States.

Your fiancé can pick up the form at your nearest CIS office, at any port of entry, or he can download it from the USCIS office website, www.uscis.gov.

Good luck.
