Do you find an "over the boarder" collage party offensive?
What do you think?

Answer:
I thought we had freedom of expression ? I think there are more important things to worry about they just need to get a life
I think it shows that these kids are ignorant and lacking in tolerance.
The correct response to offensive speech is *more* speech that expresses an opposing view, rather than trying to censor or punish the offensiveness.
I agree that political correctness is silly and Santa Clara is going way overboard.
I don't know if it's offensive or not - that's a relative term.
Certainly it was designed to do exactly what it it did - get national attention - which makes it inflammatory and wrong.
(Oh, and a "boarder" is somebody who pays to stay at your house - a "border" is a national boundary - they generally teach those things to people in college, provided they are sober enough to learn).
I find it offensive that I was not invited, by the half Mexican host, but maybe it was the other half that held the party. OK so you are half forgiven.
Hey, I am SICK of people being offended! You know what, if you get offended, it is YOUR fault! Grow up people. You are going to be offended in life, just deal with it.
I think it shows just how ignorant those college students are. And why would they have a white trash or redneck party?? Obviously they know better than to make stupid@$se$ of themselves and two wrongs don't make a right. They aren't blowing it out of proportion, it is very offensive and they have a right to protect the latino community. People already talk alot of bad things about us, and they still want their cherry on top? What kind of question is this? Are you serious??
It's offensive! When I say something about white people I get in trouble! We should get along and forget our differences! We should have a hot person party!
